From "Diablo Killer" to "Advertisement for why you should go back to Diablo 4".
The whole endgame of this game reminded me of why I stopped playing Diablo 4 at launch.
The endgame is full of oneshots, common mobs simply deleting layers and layers of defenses from any character. Elemental resistance is basically useless, armor is useless, HP is useless and even harder to achieve in a high amount. Horrible loot and with idiotic affix systems, where high-level items still have the possibility of having affixes of the lowest possible tier. Warrior is an entirely useless class and less tanky than any other class. Even though that makes no sense at all. - But it still manages to be worse than Diablo 4, because at least there, I didn't have to spend more than two or three weeks to find an endgame boss or item for that boss's map, and only have one attempt and fail, because everything in this shitty game has to be a oneshot. And being forced to spend other weeks farming for just one miserable attempt. --- If I have to go through the whole situation of Diablo 4 at launch but even worse, no thanks. I'm going back to Diablo 4 where all this shit has already been fixed. Last bumped on Jan 11, 2025, 12:54:30 AM

Also, the endgame of this game feels like I'm playing in Hardcore mode, without having chosen that mode.
Yet another thing for the huge list of things why this game is shit, no fun at all and worse than PoE1 and D4. |

PoE2 feels a bit like they took the worst, most anti-player ideas from D4 and PoE1, then blended it all up and released it as a new game, without bothering to playtest it whatsoever.

" It gets even funnier, because thinking about it now, PoE2 is like Diablo 4 at launch. Creating a thousand steps to do something simple, to simply make the player waste time in the game. Want to complete a map? Pull 3 levers very slowly to access this part where the rest of the rare enemies are. Want to access an endgame boss? Just collect 300 fragments to complete the item for his map. Want to find a citadel? Spend weeks searching for one. Because time = "the game is being a success, and people will spend more!" |

That makes no sense to me but I felt Diablo 4 beta was it's peak.
All the changes they've made to Diablo 4 has been a net negative compared to release. The Dev team has proven to be entirely clueless on what makes a good ARPG or character builds. It will never get better unless they wipe the Dev team for a new one. PoE2 released a game then went radio silent. They haven't really made any changes yet. It makes you think. Why dafuk do i have to play this unbalance broken shallow thing. When theres other games on the market. Why give my time/money to this slop. Im not even enjoying it. Why force myself ? Loyalty ? To whom ? wow |

it's just disheartening seeing them copy and paste over previous league mechanics for them to be worse in every way in poe2 compared to poe1.

Diablo 4 female sorceress looks like a ugly man.

As you may have noticed, POE 1 and POE 2 is somewhat different from your other ARPGs. In other games, you might be able to progress to the highest difficulty even if your build is all over the place. In POE, this will be highlighted severely in end game because (refer to your complaints). Hard doesn't equate to being shit nor does it equate to being bad. When something is "not fun" for you, did you ask yourself if "did I do everything to fix my build?", "did I understand why was I one shotted?"
To those saying artificial this and artificial that, what is even natural and artificial in a game? If a dev team made the game and launch it in EA, doesn't all system and penalty encompassing the game when it was launch in EA is "natural"? If you are having a hard time on something or having difficulty coping up, that is not "artificially difficult" If you think about it, "anti-player", "anti-fun" or whatever you want to label it is not really appropriate in a game when it is a business. POE simply made a stand to not lower its baseline difficulty. You don't want to put the effort to learn how to play POE? then you get your result.
