Congrats i am done to contine this game Trial Of Fuckama's
" "that's the dumb part" No, the entire thing is dumb. Why are we all doing the same trial for different ascendancies? It should be specific to the ascendancy and test the strengths/weaknesses of that specific ascendancy. A Witch becoming a Necromancer should NOT be trying to face-tank a boss like a Warrior becoming a Titan. That's the problem. The entire trials system is lazy development. " I agree on the lazy development part. It designing something to waste your time so the games takes longer to play. And in the end , oh this is a free game and yet with gave you 200 hours. That is counter productive and some of the maps and the size of it, even the campaign, oh my god, you don't have to create such an enormous map just to make the game longer. If there is purpose to it sure, but there is absolutely no purpose to it, you spend xxx hour just to go from point A to Point B so you can get 3 Vials that will give you some Chaos resist Etc Etc. It turns people off. Rampage IGN : Cool_Hamster

" Completely rational viewpoint. Anything that gives a negative progression has no place in an ARPG unless someone wants to play hardcore or something to really challenge themselves. Especially the hours-long "ascendancy" that has nothing to do with your "ascendancy"... it's kind of a mind-boggling choice they made there to have everyone do the same trial. If your goal is just to clear, save all the water to buy good boons.
I got lucky having +40 (or 50% damage?) and reduce damage from monsters Also, try to plan your route ahead. Don't pick the route which only lead to one choice, it will force you to accept bad debuff. |

" You're missing the bigger point. The entire "trial" system needs a total rework. Every single ascendancy should have their own trial and the challenges within it should test the strengths/weaknesses of that ascendancy. The whole "one-size-fits-all" thing is just lazy development. That's why it's so much harder for some people than others. Some builds will literally NEVER be able to get through all the ascendancies. " Check all the relics you have gotten. Pick out everyone that has Honour Resistance & Max Honour. This made it possible for me to progress there. And if you feel the bosses are/could be a problem, just stop when you have cleared the room before the boss. Select leave and save at the bottem left of the room selection map. Then if you have any friend that can jump in and help kill the bosses, or just ask in global if anyone would be up for it :) But defenetly pick up every single relic you see, they drop alot and will def change it from taking a little hit removing a huge amount of honour to just removing a tiny bit. I did not enjoy sanctum in poe 1 cause i just never got any relics to drop. Initially my heart sank a bit when i sa this 2.0 version thinking "here we go again, no relics". But after 3-5 runs i had plenty of relics and went from struggling on the first floor to making it to the third floor every run. If you are unlucky with the rooms giving bad debuffs bricking your run just take it as a Exp & relic run, since if you run out of honour and loose you dont die and loose exp (unless you fail the crystals timer och last boss the you die) Hope it helps out! :) EDIT: One more thing! The rooms on the floors will always have the same layouts. So when you enter a room, you see "oh its this one" you will learn where to go. That also helped me out alot. " Because that's GGG's thing, to redo what's already been done.. you go back to the aquaducts in poe1 and you better be sure to do a cruel version of the acts in poe2. makes no sense but they love these lazy do-it again problem solving and call it a solution. |

" And they expect you to take it and smile and ask for seconds. I don't understand this development company. They have such a good concept for a game and they are going to ruin it the same way they did POE 1 and ostracize half the players that WOULD play the game if it wasn't so frustrating. You can load up on all the relics and everything else, if you get a "minor affliction" that removes your EV and you have an EV build (which means you won't have much honour), your run is pretty much flat bricked. If you play CI or even a high ES build with life reserved like necro and get a no ES affliction? Run is bricked. Armour stacker? Most of your nodes don't mean anything anymore. If you enter the final boss room without a blink build and the other "minor affliction" that removes MS? Your run is bricked. You can easily acquire any of these afflictions. The best way is to choose "cannot see afflictions" trying to avoid one of them and then get one a room later. It's a big mess of Hobson's choices designed to brick runs to get people to spend more time playing.
