In NZ, we are entitled to 4 weeks payed holiday we can take any time of the year. The time of the year that takes place on is not mandatory, nor is it required that all employees in a business take them at the same time. Most retail companies don't like it if you take your holiday over Christmas because you are expected to work.

Like I said the only mandatory days are Christmas day,d newyears day, and easter. On which no business is allowed to open except Gas stations.

Right so.. we pay 19% GST tax (on a minimum wage), this was 15% a couple of years ago before NZers were expected to pay for the free vaccines through tax. At the time we were all duped into thinking this was for our own good. After the government changed, the tax rate did not go down.

Also medical care is NOT free unless you go to the public hospital, where you'll be on a waiting list for a year at least, unless its an emergency. We do have benefits though for people who cannot work. Theres now 6 million people here and not enough businesses hiring, because its very hard to start a business in NZ because of the extremely high tax rate for small businesses.

Foreigners hear about companies Like WETA studios and think we're successful, but Weta ONLY hire from overseas. NZers dont actually get to work in the companies that made us famous. The ONLY thing that makes NZ money is exporting farming goods and dairy. If you dont do that then you work in retail or care.

The devs deserve their vacation.. but GGG directors could communicate a bit more... directors are not normal employees.. they are responsible for companies even while on vacations ( I know I am one in my own company)... so they could write a page fort he public.. would do no harm

No, most people do not have three weeks off for holidays over Xmas. Especially when they dropped a product 600k people paid for, EA or not, with glaring game breaking issues.
