The silence is deafening

I strongly believe that at least half of the company was working during this period except few days and we will see something big in coming days.

If anyone thinks that whole company left for 3 weeks after launching the biggest product of their lifes...you are in the wrong mindset.

If we were on the brink of "something big", it wouldn't have cost them more than the time it took to type five sentences about what this big thing was and post it.
Because something big has to be thought through, planned, and then executed, and that takes time. If they made a decision to do x,y, and z, a week or two ago, that would have been posted already. Obviously.

I would be deeply embarrassed to attach even my nickname to such petty and entitled whining.

Kudos to you all for your bravery and heroism.

Aren't you the special rodent.

You launched a game with 600.000 paying customers, did one patch after 10 days, then have left for three weeks.

You fixed one exploit, but not before the entire market and economy, which was already bad, was completely crashed.

A part of the player base are running around rich as f***, the other half can't get into any sort of gearing beyond SSF, which only gets people to final endgame if you have 250 hours of grinding available, or random super luck.
How is this catering to 600k players?

It's not even been a month, and you not only peaked, but you lost more than half of the paying player base.

There are a handful of mechanics in the game that is simply not working.
There are dozens of things most people blatantly dislike.

the graph of players quitting is growing steeper by the minute. You are bleeding players.

Respect your paying customers -YES PAYING, IT'S NOT "A FREE GAME", enough to at the very least address the issues and intent going onwards in a written statement.

Give us a roadmap, a reason to come back to the game. At this point I'm completely fed up with the entire studio.

No, most people do not have three weeks off for holidays over Xmas. Especially when they dropped a product 600k people paid for, EA or not, with glaring game breaking issues.

It's time to show us you care.

Entitled beta tester

Maybe I am, but at least I'm intelligent enough to actually engage in arguments, rather than just slagging people off and being a d**k.

I understand the EA and alike .... but

You sir made my day.
Anything that feel polish is legacy of PoE 1 and everything new is sloppy as it can be.

You clearly haven't played many real early access games.

Your attitude is pretty clear, you should stick to 100% finished and released products from now on.

Oh, I play a lot of Early Access title, even the bad one that never complete or took 10 year to get to just beta. Some are more wonky / buggy than this.

That why I mean I understand EA and alike. I use to. Well, some game are quite good in EA and go bonkers at release too.

But again, anything that feel polish is something that PoE 1 already did. Anything that complete new in PoE 2 is not that polish level true to "EA". For EX, the death bubble from Water Hag are not give some good riddle as EoW horror orb and this is even the same mechanic from PoE 1.
Slow in, slow out cuz I'm just a player.

GGG is completely understaffed for this massive title.

They need to get some externals ASAP.
Seriously, this eldheim fellow has to be engaged in some sort of elaborate post-modern performance art project, right? There's no way a real person has a weeks-long public emotional meltdown because a video game wasn't updated at their preferred time.

It's like watching one of those YouTube videos where a shopper screams and cries and rolls around on the floor because the store ran out of skim milk or asked them to wear a mask or doesn't accept AmEx cards or whatever. Except those are someone having one really bad day, so there could be a reasonable explanation - maybe they're having an adverse reaction to new medication, or their dog just died, or they're mixing uppers and downers.

its funny how much leeway people are willing to give GGG, they wouldn't be this forgiving to any other dev out there.
I wonder if people think that grocery stores, banks, and malls are closed in NZ for 3 weeks because of these "laws".

I wasn't aware that playing Path of Exile was a life necessity like buying food and getting your money from a bank.
