Why dedicate my time if I can lose all my XP with a death penalty?

Wrong, it does the opposite. Makes the game unfun, makes people play in boring,safe content or ultimately makes people just quit the game. It adds nothing of value to the game and should be deleted.

Losing hours of your progress isn't fun. Not touching this dumpster fire of a game until some major changes happen. And I'm not the only player who was driven away by these unnecessarily harsh death penalties, many others were too because the game simply doesn't respect your time.

You sound like someone who dies way to often and instead of self reflecting on why you died ( build, gear, gameplay) you just wanna blame everyone else but yourself...which I bet any amount of money you do the same thing in every aspect of your life.

No, there is no such thing as "git gud" or "skill issue" in this game. It's just bad game design, and do you know what people do when a game isn't fun or engaging? They quit. It's the game's fault 100% for deleting people's time investment lol

The hours it took to get the exp, and the map,loot and league mechanic icons+tower mods that I earned are taken away by the game. That is what you lose when you die, this isn't even softcore when its full of so many hardcore mechanics pushed onto the player when the player clearly did not opt into that.
^ah okay so now you are adding a ton of OTHER things in to justify your hypocrisy? Last I checked, this thread was specifically complaining about the EXP penalty ONLY.....and those words you spouted were back and forth about THAT point.

But sure....taking every single little complaint you have and using it in EVERY argument, in EVERY thread, no matter what makes perfect sense.

Yep, exactly. These kinds of penalties just discourage people from ever trying hard content, and instead they just farm safe,boring content to level up then buy a carry or something.
