Though I'm not sure if they're even reading this feedback forum, I see zero communication from their side.


Game isnt really live yet. I'd say we can give them a few weeks to iron stuff out.
These things killed me the most:
1. Random after-death effect
2. Off-screen giant birds or giant monkeys jump at me

Holy balls the amount of clueless ggg glazers in this thread is insane.
1700 hp is not small amount for evasion based character, we dont have life % on tree hello
You need 212 dex for best bow bases, so you cant exactly stack strength and gear doesnt provide that much hp unless you have unlimited funds
The issue for evasion based characters is that without acrobatics we cant dodge any type of aoe or slam, same as dodge roll.
And this is what kills evasion characters.
There are few mob types you cant really do anything about since they would just jump at you offscreen and if you dont have 50 ms reactions to instantly roll in their direction(which is the only way to avoid most of the slams btw) you are likely to die.
This game is so trash nothing was ever tested in endgame and nothing is being patched so yea keep thinking you know the game running with 10k energy shield lulw
Difficulty is not very fair in this game. While u are in an easy run, oneshoting packs, a single mob coming from nowhere can oneshot you~ often with invisible spells/hard to see ones.

Quite sad.

It feels like it's not really in my hands anymore if I take Damage (and if it's a rare/essence monster survive).
Well since as you said yourself, you got oneshot with 1.7k hp, isn't that a clear indication that 1.7k hp isn't a lot? What more do you need to know to reach that conclusion?

If you are getting oneshot with an evasion based character, maybe use some EVASION + ES gear so you avoid that in the future. EG, just a total of 300 ES on your gear gives you a pool of 300 extra hp to play around with.

Yeah, it's not usual in lower Maps but it's basically the only thing that kills you later. No matter if your ES/Armour/Life or Energy Shield. It's just that Energy Shield (and probably Gemling STR-Stacking) is much too good atm so it let's you survive stuff no one else can.
I agree with OP, and that's as a player with decent general knowledge on POE defense mechanics. The devs should be implementing tools to help players gather information about their characters. Yea, getting one-shot is a pretty obvious indication your defenses need work. But without any information on what exactly killed you, newer players and those that don't do extensive external research are going to be left very confused as to HOW to fix those problems, or even where to start. Everyone here commenting tips is missing the point, because they already have some clue (through preexisting knowledge) of where the OP could be missing defense. But that knowledge isn't readily available without going outside the game.

Hell, something super easy to do could be adding a monster compendium that gives general knowledge of the various monsters seen through the game so players can learn which monsters do what attacks/spells, and what type of damage it is. Die to a monster in map? Look it up, see what it does, adjust accordingly.

But yea, OP I agree. Shouldn't be an unreasonable ask of the devs to provide some information to the player so they can improve.

how are you dying to them? Im running t15s with 1800 life and 2000 ES and i survive them...wtf
