please stop monsters from pushing me around like a ball in breach

"
i've played many games, not a single game i can think of where melee was worse than it is in poe2.

you have literally opt into giving monsters the worst shit you could ever give them for melee characters, and most of that shti does not even affect a ranged char that's offscreening monsters.

monsters are literally just blocking me and pushing me back so much in breach and other mechancis sometimes i need 20 times the time to move from x to y because i keep getting pushed back.

especially this shitty designed monster that actually literally plays american football with you and drags you all the way to the moon, as if melees needed more shit to make their gameplay feel bad.

+1

Dodge roll feels so clunky in most scenarios like this , I just started using blink on my monk today to see how it feels but the same spots that you get stuck while dodge rolling or issues with being pushed around - also feel the same for blink. The terrain blocks and unit collisions can be so annoying.

I'm not a fan of unit collision on every single monster. The big boys, sure that makes more sense. But tiny ants, 5 waves of blood at once

But you have rolling ants, sleeping delirium mobs, waves of blood all pushing you around as if you are a rag doll , feels so awkward.
i havnt felt motion sickness in a game in a long while, the camera detachment plus enemies pushing you around is actually really disorientating and making me feel dizzy af.

would prefer to be able to always lock game, even for flicker strike, the camer snapping is more predictable and managble then the guess work a loose cam does.

its simialr for boss fights, yea it looks more cinematics, but for me, i want my character dead center hard locked under all conditions in an arpg, its literally a matter of not feeling like im gonna vomit
I was legit surprised when I spec'd Titan on my warrior that not being able to be pushed wasn't built-in with 0 passives taken. It just makes sense.

But the changes to roll and tiny monsters has made it more bearable for sure. But is going for "bearable" something you should be aiming for?

Isn’t there an option for that? I recall seeing something about not allowing cinematic zoom but maybe that’s just for boss encounters. Definitely turn off screen shake if you haven’t already.

screen shake is to me actually not bad in poe2, after 30+ years its the first time ive said that >< but yes, the camera movements are really really bad for me and have tried a cpl settings, they didn't seem related to that, still moved anyway

i don't think it should be a titan-only thing anyway.

it should be somekind of buff say a "support for spirit gems" for example where "attacking with melee damage grants resistance / immunity to being pushed back" kinda thing.

or it can be a notable that scales it with strength because that would be more accurate as a concept, with enough strength monsters should not be pushing you around as if you were a weakling.
You can Stun/Knockback the monsters too. Do it it to them before they surround you and initiate the Pinball Phase!

Alternatively, collect Thorns gear and embrace madness.

We need Phasing. Problem solved.
I also think that this is obnoxious when it happens. I also don't see how to avoid it besides killing the monsters faster. Unfortunately, it is very very difficult to gain more power.
More quant in maps please
