POE's no where near any sort of goldilocks zone for me in any mode, that doesn't change the cause and effect of how trade balance effects the game. It just means we're both bound to be at least unsatisfied about where the balance currently is.
IMHO Trade needs to be HARDER to get done currently with improvement to drop rates, or non-trading experience of the game should probably get something like Last Epochs guild system. AKA tune SSF for a good experience of playing instead of just defaulting to stupid trade drop rates.
Like I get and agree with your arguement but I also agree that we're kinda in a no ones happy situation.
I'm unfamiliar with LE ssf situation but that would be somewhat what I would like. SSF but you know, improved drops considering you cant trade.
One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.

Highly recommend you check it out when 1.2 drops with a new season sometime early next year. They basically turned the typical trade or ssf system on its head by assigning the status of items trade flag to the item, which means an item you found while a member of the Circle of Fortune(CoF) faction can stil be gifted to a friend you have played enough with to earn a trade token between the two.
