Map drop rate is unsustainable

Everyone is saying they have 2-5 drop per map, so you should all have hundreds of them if you run as many maps as I have. With that said, I would be so greatful if someone wanted to sell me a large pack of t15s.

Yea my atlas looks like yours. Actually I have a bunch of map boss skill points in 2nd atlas that give me even more waystone drop rate that I don’t see you guys have. Yes my maps are all rare and corrupted. Yes boss maps typically do drop maps but not always, and even if they did there’s not enough boss maps to sustain me at the rate I’m running maps. I can run any map with any boss in under 4 mins. So I will buy any undesirable maps or whatever you want to sell. I’m officially totally out of t15 maps. Anyone willing to sell me bulk t15 I would really appreciate it!!

I now have 6 points into the secondary atlas map boss atlas skill tree and this is making 3+ lvl 15s drop from bosses. But again, unfortunately this is not enough to sustain me or allow me to run all t15s as I navigate through the atlas targeting boss nodes.

Best advice I’ve gotten I just received over pm not too long ago. Will share it here incase it helps others…
Only run the super juiced t15 on boss maps. Otherwise run t14 until u hit good atlas mode worth using a t15 on. This has definitely helped with the map drops, but being lvl 90+ this has definitely killed XP progression. This might seem an obvious strategy to others, but I didn’t think it would take lowering my mapping abilities in order to have t15 left for the good nodes. But it is what it is

I have been asking on trade and global for bulk t15 trade, and not one person has replied. Playing 1ex each. If they’re really dropping at the rate you guys claim, people would be running to my offer to buy

I don't see anything wrong about not sustaining the highest tiers of maps.


finally someone sensible, when you think we use to mirror maps back in the days, now all those kids want everytihng for free. i'm level 90 too, easily sustaining T12-15, and thats perfectly fine, those who are crying about maps sustain, probalby use reforge bench way too much, then scrap a bunch vaaling them with mods they cant run, and just simply dying. none of that has anything to do with map drops.



the same is happening with currencies, people who dont know how to use them, crying for buffs. looks what happened to poe over the years. nowaday, GGG need to shower players in divines and free mirrors or the league dead after 2 weeks.

I would also like to add that I’m playing on console. Unfortunately there is no loot filter for consoles. I also play spark which is always killing things off screen. With the combination of off screen kills and no loot filter, there is a high possibility I’m just not seeing the maps drop. I try to go slow and read all drops bc things like tablets just appear as normal blue items. But there is definitely a likelyhood I’m missing map drops due to my build choice, no loot filter and not being totally thorough

I am the OP so I’m not sure if you’re referring to me? I maybe die once a week, really nothing doesn’t instantly die. So no sustain on map drops from deaths is not a variable. I played since 2015 and I don’t recall mirroring maps, but maybe you’re right.

I will continue to just traverse the atlas with non t15 and only use my limited t15 on boss maps.

Lvl 18 map completed so I now have 8 skills into boss atlas which is greatly helping t15 drops on boss. But no change on maps. They just don’t drop for me. Even a juiced t17 didn’t drop one. It’s crazy

Have 6 full stashes of t15 maps haven't juiced any of my maps either. play solo

Yeah, tried using it and right the first time I got way more than I used to get. Not rly sure if I was just being unlucky or there is really a problem there.

I only have maybe 40-50% rarity also

Btw, I recently made a swap on some item's on my build and have been able to get rarity around 140%~160% (on rares using the charm) without losing much damage and let me tell you, now the drop of t15's are just stupid. Most generic maps with no breach/deli/ritual drop me 2 to 3 t15. There was one time when the map was super juiced and had multiple mechanics i've been able to get out of it with 6 t15 and 4 t14.
