Yeah it's horrible. All kinds of mental gymnastics in this topic, the reality is that the drop rate is too low.

Regardless of drop rate, the problem I see is that people *could* run out of waystones even if they don't die. So they need to provide options beyond just buying T1s
Maps below a certain level should just stop dropping entirely when you're doing 15s. Even with all the passives, tablets, and juiced maps it feels like way to many low level maps keep dropping. At least make it so no map below a 10 drops in 15s.
When you record a video of these hyper juiced waystones and no t15s dropping I'll believe you. Until then, I'll believe that the other 99.9999% of playerbase in t15s happily sustaining aren't just living a dream.
I can confirm that they are unsustainable and that's with Atlas tree points in item quantity and Waystone quantity+higher tier. I fell back to T6. I think the problem is that when Waystones do drop, half the time you get really low tier ones (T1-T3) and they're probably replacing the high tier drops.

But... I'm also avoiding boss maps because my single target damage isn't great. That's probably a big factor, however I think maps should be sustainable even if you avoid Boss maps. They're not. This is especially a big problem in SSF where you can't just trade for more maps. You have to go and farm for new ones which can take hours depending on how far down the tiers you drop.

Droprate from Rare mobs should be higher IMO and the droprate for low tier Waystones should be cut in half if not completely removed.
I play solo and I find bosses with corruption and Irridated drop the most maps.

Best drop was last night with 4 Yellow T15's. I run 260% rarity w/o charm.

There should be no reason to put in waystone drop chance as your maps just from an alch and 1 vaal orb are generally 200-500%.

You're getting what maybe 120% if you had max quant of waystone from affix?

Also you can run the maps get a corruption node extra on the map tree if they are corrupted and I've seen upwards of 850% through this.

Before you even say anything about rarity. I haven't seen a raw divine in over a week. So don't tell me it is / or is not busted. I do find tons of rares though.

Seems right the way it is.

One sad Exile
Isn't there a well known bug with map drops right now if you juice too hard, maybe involving the +level? Try not juicing so much, see what happens.
My observation so far is that waystone drops plummet when moving to yellow ones, T6+, i have been stuck at T7+ mission for a while as there are no waystone drops in T6+ maps, play T5 as magic with 80% dropbonus, receive multiple waystones, play T6 as 200%+ rare, nothing. Pretty much going to stop playing until there is change to it.

Yeah, I had a similar experience around the T6~T8 maps as they did not drop that much and I had to start making them rare and focus on the waystone passives more. After I did that I didn't have any issues sustaining the maps. And I never had to buy anything to sustain it asides from some vaal orb's and even that was just to try to make the t15's into t16's.

This is my current waystone stash.

And this is my atlas passive tree.
