Interactive Passive Skill Tree on Website

Honestly, the passive skill tree in PoE is my least favorite mechanic. It is messy and uninviting to players. The massive layout of absolutely every skill you could want is daunting to those who want to study their choices.

I think breaking the trees into tiers or displaying skills by stat could clean it up a bit.

I havn't played the game yet, so I am talking out my ass, but the passive skill ui just doesn't look like fun to me.
the opposite here .. i like this gigantic monster :)

Shure it will get changes (as the devs said) but most ppl i have talked or watched streams with were positive about the layout. Had enough tiny skilltrees in the last 20 games.

It would be nice to see all the options so if i do get the beta i can just go straight to killing monsters instead reading all the passive skills
This is something I've really wanted to see ever since I watched someone open it in a live stream.
I understand why, in some ways it might not be the best thing to have an interactive tree so that people can play around with builds- because it's always changing and some may get confused.
But on the other hand- I haven't even been able to see the thing long enough to know more than the most basic thing about it (that there are points gained during leveling and you get stuff from them). And it seems like it would really just benefit the testing and game play more than anything (as people just joining aren't going to open the tree and get eaten by that abyss as soon as they get in; as I know I will)

+1. When the final release comes, they should definitely implement a interactive passive skill tree onto the website to help players figure out builds. Especially when there are so many potential builds

This.

I agree, i would really love toying around with the passive skill tree!
I have reason to believe, that this would not be possible during beta mainly because the passive skill tree is mostly tentative in game. The effects/descriptions/uses of the skills are not fixed yet or in other words are subject to change without prior notice so having it on the website would not be preferred during the beta phase. Probably when the game officially launches.
Thanks for the read!
