Interactive Passive Skill Tree on Website
|
In other words:
Don't plan builds based on the skill tree as it is now, because it will change (repeatedly) before open beta, never mind release. I have wandered through insanity;
I have walked the spiral out. Heard its twisted dreamed inanity In a whisper, in a shout. In the babbling cacophony The refrains are all the same: "[permutations of humanity] are unworthy of the name!" |

+1. When the final release comes, they should definitely implement a interactive passive skill tree onto the website to help players figure out builds. Especially when there are so many potential builds

Hopefully they will include a revamp of the skills tree when they implement the new UI :D

I'd indeed like to see an Interactive passive skill tree here on the website for some theory crafting, but its subject to change as it is now so i'm unsure if they should focus on it.

It certainly wont be long after release before someone comes out with a skill planner just like every other game where you can theorycraft, until then chris has said the tree is going to change massively, both in the skills you can choose and the starting position of different classes.
Once the game is out then i would definitely be all for it. |

Honestly, the passive skill tree in PoE is my least favorite mechanic. It is messy and uninviting to players. The massive layout of absolutely every skill you could want is daunting to those who want to study their choices.
I think breaking the trees into tiers or displaying skills by stat could clean it up a bit. I havn't played the game yet, so I am talking out my ass, but the passive skill ui just doesn't look like fun to me. |
