You clearly don't understand the issue or blatantly ignore it.
If I wanted one-try-everything experience, I would play HC.
But SC is NOT a "one-try-everything experience", you are more than welcome to retry the boss you fail, over and over again. But not by drowning it in your characters corpses, getting the loot and ruining the economy for everyone.

Have you killed Arbiter yet? Or maybe got your 3rd and 4th ascendancies on first try?
not yet. I'm working on it. Unlike people making "I CAN'T KILL ARBITER WITH MY ACT 3 GEAR, GGG PLEASE NERF HIM TO THE GROUND SO I CAN GET MY EZ CHALLENGE AND LOOT!!!" posts

It's the casuals that carry this burden by spending their well earned dollars in cosmetics and supporter packs :)
lol, casuals BY DEFINITION are people that will play POE a bit today and maybe tomorrow, uninstall it day after tomorrow to install something else. It's the hardcore, committed players that keep the lights on
You are genuinely about as misinformed as is possible.
Firstly the estimated budget for poe2 as about 100 million NZ dollars, this simply cannot be reimbursed by 1% players who you claim want a souls like Poe. They may be the ones that buy 240$ or 480$ packs but the 100,000 (1%) if they all bought a pack that’s between 2.4 and 4.8 million dollars.
The other 900,000 that are more casual tend towards the 30 and 60$ packs but if they all bought a pack that’s between 2.7 million dollars and 5.2 million dollars.
As a company they cannot afford to lose either group whom are half their revenue stream.
The game has to have a softcore and ruthless mode (if by any other name), as it stands this EA is too close to the ruthless end and will lose half their audience (and half their revenue).
If we assume (as it’s easier to give than to take difficulty) this is intended and a softcore mode is coming then there is no issue.
Secondly, you claim this game is so much different than poe1 and tbh I’ve seen little evidence to this exceot we have dodge roll, no crafting and still have a few of PoE1s glaring errors.
Lastly you claimed that the passive tree is terrifying to a casual player, I am a casual player and I don’t agree. It’s the depth of the passive tree and the diversity of potential characters it allows that makes the game great. Sadly the new game has far far less ‘magic’ and more ‘mundane’ nodes within it and will limit (probably intentionally) build diversity. So far I haven’t cared as I’ve been having fun and it’s an ok waste of my time (by your definition…entertainment).
It’s going to get many iterations over the next 6 months, and judging by your stance, ones that you will dislike and the majority of the player base (judging by the constant feedback spam) will like.
Let’s see what you think in May. lol

Well, if he does - I'll clearly need some better gear, more levels and skill. Definitely not gonna go to forum to cry that "OMG GGG ARBITRER TOOK CARE OF ME PLEASE NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERF HIM"

Said it already like 3 times - casuals, BY DEFINITION, don't spend money on a game they play casually. They just don't. It's the loyal, hardcore and committed fanbase that does.

In a game with bosses that are SPECIFICALLY built to be very difficult, 80% of my deaths or more are from random on-death effects that 1-shot or shotgun me and are completely hidden by burning ground, shocked ground, bodies, shattered ice shards, grass, plants, snow, hills, literally ANYTHING.
So yeah, there's idiots like "I can't get past level 2, game too hard"
But there's also those of us that are tired of being cheesed by the game because they couldn't come up with a more fair way to kill my character.
When "we're not clever enough to beat you, so just die" becomes your game motto, no one's happy.

How another player plays the game doesn't affect you, crazy concept.
ofc it does. It affects the economy, if casual flood the market with items that should be elite in their nature
That's not true. The different challenge modes have always had separate economies.

get it into your head - POE2 is NOT a game for casuals. It's not for people who want to play it 2-3 hours on average a day. This is a game that requires commitment, knowledge and skill. And it's by design.
The passive tree is supposed to be overwhelming. Skills and supports are meant to be complicated and require knowledge, research and thinking. The game is meant to be about hundreds of hours of grind to get that chance to shine and show your SKILL and commitment and the will be push further. And yes, it is meant to be "one mistake = you're out of luck, try again". That's what's challenging about it and that's what people love.
If you want an "ez game" - plenty of casual friendly, mindless clicking one button and pay to win games out there. Feel free to go there. This is Path of Souls, baby, we grind here and we welcome every death as a chance to improve ourselves.
I'm no tourist. D1 was my first aRPG.
The amount of ours under my aRPG belt is incalculable. Spanning multiple accounts and so many aliases I couldn't keep track of it.
... and I'm saying, you are missing the point.
... and I'm saying, the difficulty between some character/skill combos is just absurd:

No you won't come on the forums after that.
You'll crawl under your bed and think about how right we were in this little exchange.
You don't give 1 portal for a boss you have to proc this way.
