Stop moaning and crying that "ThE gAmE iS tOo DiffICulT" - it's meant to be
" I believe the answer you were looking for is "No. This was done in PoE1 and it did not break the economy. I clearly don't know about this tried and true gameplay mechanic and it shows." Also, have you checked market prices lately? Are we playing the same game? |

" LMFAO. Remind me again - how much was magablood in recent leagues vs when it first came out?
" That is your comparison? So open build items are your claim to ruined economy? Dude, you might as well go back to setting mjolnir's on crucible and saying "This broke the economy because specific builds were highlighting and duping exalts." There's always been a flavor of the month in PoE1. You just invalidated your whole post. You basically said "I'm the fun police." and "If it's something I want, then it should be cheap." That's your entire argument, summed up. Fun police. Want cheap stuff. How very casual of you. Last edited by Faroc#0285 on Dec 23, 2024, 9:01:32 AM

" yes, that's my claim, when we had hoards of casuals running around in the most prestige and elite unique item, all because GGG decided to open the gates to it to people that should be extremely luckily if they find a tabula. "crucible" was just one league. Thanks god it did not go core. Here we're talking about the whole philosophy of the whole game. And no, I'm literally opposite of "If it's something I want, then it should be cheap.". I'm "if something is elite it should be only accessible to elites, people willing to grind, grind, grind, grind and improve their skills, not launching path of souls on Saturday late afternoon and crying they can't melt endgame and get the most valuable items. " Well you really can out-gear fights. 99% of the complaints about difficulty in acts are easiliy solved by trading for a better weapon. |

" I play SSF and I could care less about economy and what other players have. |

" And you want a medal? Or force everyone else to play SSF once casuals destroy the economy?
" You clearly have zero idea about what casuals do in the game. No casual will grind stuff for hours to sell it. And if something becomes widely available for people who play trade leagues, I don't see anyone who loses in that situation other than so-called 'elitists' who suddenly feel that their pixels are diminished in value. |

" Yeah I was gonna say. In PoE1, the game was a lot harder back in the days of closed beta. Anyone else remember when reflection used to be auras and applied instantly? Absolutely bricked any builds that went too high in DPS. GGG nerfed and eventually killed them outright in the following years. Summoners had terrible passives back then too so your zombies would crumble at the slightest hint of difficulty, especially against certain rogue exiles such as Orra Greengate or Igna Phoenix. Now minions are in a much better state and can tackle all except the most broken content. I still remember when Malachai was one of the hardest bosses to fight, both in merciless acts, and pinnacle maps. Now he's a joke. Anyone who thinks PoE2 is going to stay this difficult is going to be in for a rude awakening. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |
