Allow same support gem more than once, FOR SEPERATE SKILL Gems
" My guy, picking the same 3 skill gems every single poe1 league isnt choice Poe2 there is multiple gems with diferent effects that will benefit diferent skills. These poe1 "vets" and their zoom zoom mentallity is what "ruins" a perfectly good system. But yes there needs to be more support gems in the future, wich there will be from the amount of "coming soon" If u want to play poe1 that already exists. |

"You can already do that. It's called gemling legionnaire. |

The only 2 things they should really stick to are 1 death per map and each support only being allowed once. That said they need to make them more interesting or powerful.
Hourglass is a good example, since a 10s cooldown in an arpg may as well be 30s on a dps skill because of the way the game plays, so they should make it like 300% more damage (or even more honestly) and give it a 30 second CD. There are a lot of others that could use a similar pass to make them more interesting and worth choosing |

All meta builds don't require those, so you're clearly just trying to find suffers

Hopefully when all the other classes and crap are released we will have more supports to play with. The biggest issue are things being locked to weapon types.

This is a rich man's complaint. I don't have enough support gems to socket into the skills I have.

Play gemling like I do. You get two copies of support on two skills. Problem solved!
Jokes aside I prefer the current limit to one support. Otherwise everyone might be putting all damage supports everywhere |

" I haven't gotten the ascendancy yet. Can you clarify, does it allow to use just one support twice, or as many as I want (as long as on two different skills)? I find the wording really ambiguous. Last edited by Ankh_13#4218 on Dec 21, 2024, 8:42:39 PM

" Not trying to be rude but you probably just have no ideas 😅 |

" You ignore the fact that a lot of support gem skills are bullshit. I have crit-frost-mage. Frost bolt+nova for clear. Frost bomb+ice walls for bosses. CoF - eye of winter. CoC -comet. + ascendancy Elemental storm -> im running out of impactful support gems in 3 LINKS.NOT 4,NOT 5. My elemental storm running with gem which consume "break armor" and do more damage - but i dont break armor at all//im not phys build. Do you know why i put this gem there? CAUSE I DONT HAVE ANYTHING ELSE. I cannot use control destruction ->im crit and i will loose damage and i cannot use elemental focus - less freeze/loose defensive layer and lesser CoF proc. So stfu. Almost the same in my minion arsonist build with 3 minions. Im running arsonist ->main. Dog->support and SRS is just for some small addinional benefit. If i turn off SRS and put 1 more arsonist - this is same poe1 one skill mechanic, cause i dont have gems to proper buff my srs and they are almost usless, only clear white shit mobs. You talking some nonsense. A lot of archetypes here are "1 button" cause all what they can do - its modify 1 skill. Crit gems are sucks here and with current crit gems my build do less damage or i have to run aura for frenzy, convert to power, take power charge nodes and take support which "consume power charge, give more crit" - this mechanic may work. Or Lets see how runs other minion builds -> 1 main skill like in poe 1 . Or lets see how playing deadeye. Multiple skills? Nope. You still have 1 main skill. or "poison cloud"+ fire - its same like in poe 1 necro desecrate and volitile dead/detonate dead. And please, dont tell me about something like "orb of storm"+ ball lightning -> a lot of archmages used it in poe1 with sigil of power and arcane cloak/manastorm. I really dont see too much difference. Lightning manastack archetype have same numbers of buttones and active skills like in poe1. Those builds who actually can run multiple skills - runs out of valuable support gems. All others are 1-2 buttons bulds. Its "illusion" that you using more skills or getting some true benefits by using support gems to them. Last edited by Berzal#5810 on Dec 21, 2024, 10:57:02 PM
