Precisely, let the free market decide. Until then, stop dooming in every post you get your hands on. It's a feedback forum, dooming doesn't help.

are you being serious? did you hate dark souls and elden ring too? why are you still playing poe2 if it's not rewarding for you?

actually i hate to break it to you about poe1 but it got boring... tremendously boring on repeat play throughs because of how the direction of the game shifted where it became faster and faster and more mindless with each passing year. it was a devolution of their own creation. it has it's moments. particularly with me making exclusively my own builds and not looking up what was most powerful and i nerfed myself by not even using 6 links until the game became sufficiently difficult. i played my own way. i didn't want the zoom fest niche garbage that i saw from streamers who never had a smile on their face. they looked mindlessly bored and jaded. and that was the poe1 community in a nutshell. a bunch of jaded ''i can't wait to make it to the end game'' type of zoomers. and in some way i can't blame them because they kept going through the same easy content on repeat. but that doesn't mean poe1's vision needs to be poe2's vision.


most players who tried poe1 quit. it was overly complex, didn't explain things properly. the gem system punished players for creativity because you needed the right colors etc on the right gear etc. in many ways poe1 was poorly designed despite having really good ideas.

if poe1 was ''the best in the genre'' then it would have been able to compete with the diablo4s of the world and yet it never could. and i'm not saying D4 is a good game but i would not feel good about myself to recommend poe1 to anyone. yet i can recommend poe2 to certain players for certain.

Second, you don't care about PoE 1 which is one of the best arpgs on the market? So you actually don't like that genre. This is just a parody of a soulslike game that is failing at even being that.
