I used to think D3 graphics were ok. (you know compared to D2) but when I got to know about this game I was staggered by the gorgeous detail and the real gothic/scary feel that D3 obviously lacks. I sure hope Diablo 4 will look more like this...
Lets wait for Diablo 3 to get released first and actually play it before we even think of talking about Diablo 4...

What they're doing wrong in D3 is the late release for the game.
Hi, if you see this word, then you have to press F5(Refresh) for the image to load.

For the most part I Agree with this, but there are also a couple of things that i'm uncertain about RMAH, and things that i dont like as well. Sure, it is used to to stop third party transactions, but at the same time, it is inviting D3 Players who have never even thought about purchasing in-game items with Real money, since D3 Dev are just making it an easy option for all players. Before, people were scared and had no trust in those third party's because they were unreliable and were known for scamming players, but now that players trust the transctions... they might be tempted in buying in-game items with real money. All aside, I'm still planning to get D3 because I'm still for a lot of things they're doing with D3. They do the things they do for certain reasons, and I can see their rationale behind all of their actions, sure some people can see them as well, but still don't like them, but i wouldn't start judging them before i actually get hands on experience, and probably then can I start judging them if i start to dislike what they're going for.
Here's the thing though, I think most people who use the RMAH will use it as kind of a delayed trading system (at least if they are smart they will). Each week you use your free listings to sell off items that you don't want or need or have no more need for as long as they have some real money value and will sell. All the while you let that emoney sit there and accumulate until you see an upgrade you really want and can afford. Now you have effectively delay traded all that gear you didn't need for an upgrade you can use, all without actually having to deal directly with other players or take time away from your hacking and/or slashing to sit in trade games.
The lack of social interaction actual trading brings will be missed by some but not by me, Diablo 2 had too many scammers and idiots for my liking. Not to mention everyone's mentality that their trade items were somehow worth more than every other persons.
I think the people who drop say $300 on a lvl 60 and end game gear and circumvent all of the content will be few and far between. And those that do will likely grow bored of the game pretty quickly.
Wait... what are you trying to get at... haha i'm a bit confused. Sorry if I dont really understand what you're getting at. And... i think i get what you mean by delayed trading system, but i still need some clarification.

hey
In no particular order:
1. I am not a fan of the art style, but having seen the game played live, I do think it has a pretty intense, moody atmosphere.
2. As to the lower level cap - I think a lot of other people also fail to realize that (a) you don't start the final level of difficulty until you are at or around cap and (b) that with skill and attribute points gone, a bigger "space" between each level (ie, if it takes x time to get to 99 in one game and the same x time to get to 60 in another, it implies that at some point it takes way longer to get from one level to another in the latter game), doesn't really mean all that much - you are most likely grinding for runes and better gear at that point.
3. I'm less bothered by the RMAH than others and am willing to see whether or not their gamble pays off or if it will, as you point out, cut the legs out from under the game (another point is that Chris, while more or less stating that they wouldn't be doing an RMAH-style system did say that he understood Blizzard's decision - I think we are going to see a lot of this sort of thing in the future as devs try to feed their Hollywood summer blockbuster-esque budgets with some sort of revenue stream that isn't a large flat fee or an ever-increasing sticker price on the box).
3. I also wish they'd kept the trait system. They had something similar going with WoW in the most recent expansion (I'm such a nerd I read dev diaries for games I don't even play) called "Path of the Titans" which they scrapped. There seemed to be concerns about it being either too customizable (and therefore a balancing nightmare)or too simple (flat, smal bonuses, and therefore boring). That's probaly what happened here. I _think_ and this is just guessing here, that this is going to be increasingly common in games, especially online/mmo/esports games: launch with basic mechanics and then add more, interesting mechanics with expansions. This gives you time to get a great idea properly balanced per how players are actually playing the game.

I am going to assume you want clarification regarding what I mean by "delayed trading system".
Basically what I mean is, due to the certain number of free RMAH listings Blizzard has said they are going to be giving us each week we can effectively use the RMAH with zero investment. We sell items using those free listings and just save whatever emoney we earn in the RMAH system.
In other words you let the emoney ride until you what to buy something from the RMAH. At that point you spend the emoney you have already earned through selling to buy your upgrade. Because the only money you are spending is that which you have as a result of the RMAH (no money truly out of pocket or out of credit card as the case may be) you are effectively "trading" the gear you sold for the gear you buy, hence "delay trading".
You can let the emoney ride and accumulate as long as you wish to the point where you could literally "cash in" on something you could have never actually traded tons of small stuff for in the D2 system of trading.
All of this aside the point I am making is utilizing the RMAH in this fashion is no different than simply trading in D2 except you are using an ebalance to "delay" they trade until you find something you really want.
Hope this clarifies things some.

What they are doing wrong? The art direction and the "pay to win" crap.

Diablo III lost me at the Online play only and the RL Cash Auction. Was looking forward to it till i heard about it. Also the no Modding is quite bad imo, after playing Diablo II into the ground i found it fun to load a few mods and play them through and from those times it made me re-buy the game <lost my original CDs> for it.
