It's a "Fantasy" ARPG but Where's the "Fantasy" of our Choice?

You have the best game I've ever played since Diablo 2 LOD. I just have 1 minor gripe, we don't appear to have much customization of our characters Appearance. I'd rather not play with a short haired female sorceress (You may like that and that's your fantasy). You have spent I would imagine at least 10 years or so developing this game and why cut it short on the possibilities? You know like Really cool glowing eyes, Elegant / Pretty outfits to compliment my character as i see fit. stuff like that. The cosmetics in the shop now I would rather walk on broken glass then equip any of that. If this can't be done, At least please make some awesome outfit's in the shop like these and I will throw you my money SO FAST. It's 2024 can we push the standard and break some barriers so those of us can choose our Fantasy's?

You're asking for something that's more expensive than you might realize. All skill animations have to support double the character models, forever. In the past, when PoE was a niche game, no chance. But with Early Access raising $20mm, I wouldn't be surprised if they were considering the possibility for the first time ever.
I really really doubt it would come before full release, if it ever does. My advice: wear helmets. |

+1 on picking characters gender at bare minimum. Full customization would be cool but gender is the bare minimum.
I play sorc, and honestly, I really really REALLY wish I could have rolled as a guy. I don’t want to play a character that has my tits hanging out of my armor all the time, it’s fucking ridiculous. I ended up buying a supporter pack mainly for the stash tabs. I was glad it came with armor I could put on so I could finally put those high-beams away. I uhhhhh, I think we want the exact same thing for basically opposite reasons lmao. I will say I will likely NEVER consider buying additional MTX armor for a character when I want to play it as the opposite gender instead. Its not a game where you make a character like Skyrim, its a game where you play an established character with its own personality and backstory like Witcher. You can be almost certain that there wont be any customization in that regard. You can ask ba chances are boredering on 0 to ever get it. Its a narrative choice.

Even if I were to agree (I don't; I don't care to customize my character in an ARPG), the overuse of AI art is obnoxious. The only thing I can see it relating to is the complaint about hair length, and even then one image would've done fine as an example.

i ve seen many arpg/mmos where the characters/models are drop dead gorgeous kpop idols/hunks/baes etc.
but i dont play those games. i prefer path2 way better. the only thing i ask is for different gender option for each class. and no, i m not coming from a woke perspective. some people prefer to act as men in game, some prefer to act as women in game. thats all we want. i dont want nor need pronouns. the only pronoun i need in this game is "exile" [Removed by Support]
