The Market CURRENCY MANIPULATION by BOTS and Currency Sellers is INSANE
" I think this is a very rational solution, still it will inherently drive the prices of uniques up also. So either droprates will have to increase, or alot more people will never get to touch some of the endgame tier items. We still need a solution to the obvious currency manipulation by RMT sellers and bots. |

This is basic trade league **** happens in every league and every game with trading. Happens every single time you start to involve money into a game, it becomes no longer about entertainment but about value. Unless you chose SSF at char creation, that's what you signed up for, so don't complain.

Yep trading is the worst feature ever added to ARPG games, play ssf instead.

" That is a defeatist outlook. The game is good and it can be better. And it will be better if more people engage in open honest discussion. |

" This is actually a super good fix. I did not see this earlier. Much Kudos. So for example, if I was Selling Divines for exalts, the max divines I can sell is capped to the stack size of 10. And if I was buying Exalts for Divines, the max I can buy in one order is 20exalts worth? Or does it make more sense to cap certain currencies by stack size such as divine, chaos, annuls? |

I've been thinking about it for a while. A good solution would be two pronged.
1) All items traded between players would lose their inherent gold value. So that players would have to farm for their own trade gold tax. This would not affect 99% of the player base. As everyone is already farming for their own gold. --This prevents bots and currency traders from outsourcing their supply of gold. 2) Set Limits on orders for High Value Currencys. Such as Divines, which should only be allowed to be sold in a stack of 10 maximum per player at a time. This puts price limitations, to prevent BUY and SELL walls which are the common tactic used in market manipulation. Average players will still be able to buy and sell Divines but at a time difference of a single map. --This forces bots to have multiple active accounts to engineer manipulation tactic, which makes it more difficult to coordinate these kinds of schemes. |

" not being able to sell your old gear when you upgrade sounds like major BS - trade is fine Farming salt on the forums since 2024

" Yah that would suck to experience. Being allowed to trade gear is the core of the game, and shouldn't be changed. Still gear that is traded should have no gold value when sold to merchants. So that bots cant buy random rares from TFT just to disenchant for gold to market manipulate. Last edited by MagikYams#2273 on Dec 22, 2024, 1:54:41 AM

Yea, RMT ruined a lot of leagues. Honestly I'm pretty sure its propping up the economy of north korea. I wish people would stop doing it.

" As long as there is money to be made people are going to abuse it. It's really up to GGG as they support RMT implicitly, by ignoring it all these years. |
