Are you sure about that? I was under the impression that players who signed on to the American gateway will be placed in game instances that are run on the American server. Players on the European gateway will be placed in instances that are run on the European server. I'm not sure how it decides where to host the instance if you're in a party with someone on the other gateway, but I think the instance will be on the same server of its creator.

i think this is how it work.

I only know, i can choose EU Server and have a 30-50er Ping and i can play with US people.

But if i play with an US player and he creates the instance first i will have 150-200er ping.

That could be really great for Servers in NZ or Africa, Players from NZ/Africa still can play alone/with friends with good pings and can play/trade with US/EU people but with worse pings.

But right now PoE has not enough players to start other servers then US and EU.

Just get aussie server's.... every other company has them and its affordable and the pings are just as good as NZ. Many threads along these lines.

Maybe you guys should try internode if you haven't done so already, I hear they are very good to deal with, though I have no personal experience in the matter.
