Well get servers from Sweden or Norway then.. The lag is just a game killer now.. I had a 6 man party and each and everyone left due to sick lag spikes & out of sync rubber banding.. So did i..

In sweden and norway bandwidht is cheap as dirt and they never ever limit anything.. Consider other countries and get server in EU

Get better computer or broadband.

I have no lagg at all. I am sitting in Sweden and have 25 mbit its worked fine for me :=).
Poe veteran! Have been here sense November 2010.
Here's mine: in Brisbane. IiNet also (but from AAPT before IiNet bought them <--It was an NZ ISP I think? Man, they were great!)

For July,
I have family in Brunei, when I visit, or my brother plays, the delay is much worse, data is routed from Sg, and he reached MOC!

Stop being immaturishly spontaneous /ragequit.

Pings are better tonight. Probably bacause the unwashed are distracted by the Steam sales.

Hyperman, run cmd, type the ping and the ip address,
then see the top blue bar there? right click on it or left click the icon on the top left, a drop down menu appears, (on W7) go to edit, a side bar appears, allowing you to select all, then you can copy to the clipboard. then paste here.

I'm living in Japan. Ingame my latency averages at about 180ms (America Gateway) and 280ms (Europe Gateway).

Hi all, loving this, just wondering, do we still have AU/NZ servers planned? im getting really excited at the thought of it, i am so tired of playing games through US, and honestly, im just not going to do it anymore. I hope this comes to fruition.
Thankyou Guys, Great Devs, Great Game

I am pretty certain that if you actually find a provider at a "reasonable" cost they are still very interested in providing oceania servers. The question is if there are any New Zealand/Australia servers at reasonable monthly costs in this context.
Competing with huge and densely populated markets like EU and US is a tall order on something that doesn't take a lot of manhours and gets subsidised heavily (though mostly indirectly).
I appear to be living in "Romance Standard Time". That has to be good! :)
I stopped playing Diablo 3 from Aussie due to lag about 2 weeks after it was released.
Trying to play as a Barbarian on Inferno was a joke; it was impossible to avoid instant-death attacks even if they had a long wind-up (eg. 1 second).
My corpse would always appear 1 metre behind me..

This is also why I stopped PvP in WoW after 1 year, and stopped playing altogether after a few more.

This is also why I never played FPS in NZ (even on a NZ server it was a joke, but this was 10 years ago).

These problems aren't so bad for a game that charges upfront as the devs have already made their money, but for a free to play game based on micro transactions it is crucial.

If there is lag, people will just quit and move onto another game as they have made no investment to stay.

Hopefully the game will be downloaded soon and we will see if it is worth moving up from a $10 investment..

Bandwidth is two hundred times more expensive.

What about Australia, I assume GGG looked into this but it would be nice to have ti confirmed...

I suspect less lag would 1/2 my sync issues

No doubt they did, where here in Australia it'd only be 100 times more expensive.

With the revenue model GGG has, NZ (or Aus) servers just can't be afforded. I really wish that weren't true, cause living here in Aus my latency both to the US and Singapore sucks, but I can completely understand GGG's decision here.
