TRADE is such a detriment to POE 2 being fun

Huh weird

Not only do I have any troubles in ssf

I also have no troubles as a warrior either

I guess people just don’t know how to play/pick things up I don’t even use rarity

Yes you are the only person who knows how to play and pick up items off the ground, you alone have it all figured out.

Sometimes -- it's just better not to even try Friend...lol.

I can agree with this whole heartedly. The fact we the current prices for good gear are over 20+ divines for 1 piece is beyond ridiculous given the fact it takes over 100 exalts just for farm for 1 divine. Trading needs a major tune. Maybe set it so we can actually obtain divines for cheaper than 100 exalts and for more than just exalts. Theres pmenty of other currency that we don't spend willy nilly. Having to rely on magic find is so dumb when it's comes to currency and actually getting somewhere in endgame.
I agree with OP and disagree with the notion that people that trade had no impact on people that don't trade/play SSF.

Developpers use the exact same game for both traders and non-traders.
Traders have access to far better loot and equipment and are leveling faster and usually are far stronger than non-trader at the same level.
Wich means the traders experience an easier and faster game than the non traders.

As a result traders have a different opinion on what's the game is and need to be in term of content and balance. To suit Traders requirement for harder challenge, developpers have to adapt the game to the powerlevel and loot habit of traders.

That's means the non-traders keep getting at a worse and worse disadvantage in term of loot and power up to the point they either have to trade OR be limited to a few very potent build that work with limited access to specific items.

Having a SSF tag is not enough, game should really be different depending on trade or not.

But I understand that trade is here to stay as it's a significant money input GGG mothership TENCENT. Up to the point of you can argue that PoE2 is more of an engine to generate trade than a game to them...

The reason for it is mostly straight forward. The design philosophy is that they really want you to have to 'work' for the good items. And by work, it means MANY hours of grinding, hard bosses, and hard extra content (breaches, ritual, etc...), to get the good stuff. That is the way they want the game.

Will someone told GGG that people want to play game to have fun not to work and grind and suffer ?

Monetization in a game is a tool for people to exchange work hour grind money for enhanced funnier game experience.

GGG make it all in reverse, player have to spend time to grind virtual money in order to experience the game. But they turned the game into the work.
Spending 15 minutes to fine-tune your searches, bookmarking them or keeping several tabs open for different pieces and after all that, not getting any responses. That’s an experience I got tired of the first week. I'm still trading, but only as a seller. More currency for crafting/gambling, woohoo!
Maybe the solution to SSF vs Trader could be as simple as double the effect of all passive nodes for SSF. It might be enough to allow SSF to enjoy leveling more, and feeling like there might be a chance to get past a boss solo that they would not have had a chance at before due to poor gear. Still have to grind the gear but having a leveling improvement might make it more fun.
