all these games have a large open world, and are for big party/guild content
Path of exile 1 or 2 is not an MMO
agree to disagree on the auction house/item listing house, all it does is move the trading into the game where it belongs and not outside the game
imma somewhat retract the MMO part, they themselves listed the game as an MMO, though i dont completely agree with that. but according to this games tags, you are indeed right
Yeah agree arguing about the label MMO is a silly one, it's just a label right? Folks here are talking about trade so let's focus on that.
They discuss it at length in this interview starting around 1 hour 50 mins:

I would highly recommend a listen, they are some of the only devs of... ahem... large games with many players playing together and impacting the same economy... that truly grasp the implications of different trade methods on the game.
I'll also amend my comment that they'll never bring trade in game, it sounds like they do want to solve it, but they don't want to do it via the traditional "auction house" you see in other games, they don't know what the answer is at least as of 10 months ago.
i will watch the video abit later as i gotta go afk for a while
but when i am talking about an auction house its more of a listing of items, a prettier and Ingame version of the trade system on the website, one where the item for sale is there and if you click buy it is yours, its not a whisper and a waiting for something that may never been responded to :)
in any case if you respond to this too i will answer when i get back :)
and thanks for the link btw
