Trading is trash, still in 2000?

I'm pretty sure trading gear with a gold tax coming. Especially now when they're feeling some heat

And I mean consoles players always had the trade board despite all the "manifestos" GGG made about trading. But now when that's gone in POE 2 they're basically forced to use a phone/laptop to trade, which doesn't seem like a great way to treat the oh so important console customers
Ninja.

There should be a board in game with the same functionality as the website. If you dont want an Auction House, is fine, but let us search in game, then we talk to the person, all without alt-tab.

Also this will help players on consoles...

anything is better than alt+tab go to website find shit alt+tab back in to game hope he is there/answer than trade.

Up the topic goes

Would be better to just have the functionality via an ingame AH, don't see why not.
GGG hates trading. They want it to be as miserable as possible.

They hate it even more than deterministic crafting.

They hate it even much more than melee.

wouldnt it be better if there was an item listing/auction house IN game???

and is your feelings about "i like it how it it's" just because you have become used to it ??
yea, I've never been a fan of how it worked in poe1 and am bummed it's the same in poe2.

as someone who didn't really play d2, i've heard that "forum trading" is how it was done and where they got the "inspiration" for this system? it just doesn't feel good to trade this way.
Trading specially on consoles is atrocious. The tradesite in poe 2 is almost like an auction house with extra steps.

Edit:my point is that GGG does not seem against an auction house. Just against a well implemented auction house and simple trading. They really want to make it hard to trade.
