Drop Rate was perfect now the magic has gone.

God forbid the developers listen to the main gripe of their customers. The people who have paid to play this game.

The game is in a much better place than it was, and it should tell you something when the changes have been well received by most.

I think that's a slippery slope to go down, as that is what drove GGG to make PoE2 in the first place for many years (Could not reset or nerf PoE1 anymore without giant community backlash)

Well received by most, when this game has not even evolved its audience yet. They captured an audience who likes sandbox power fantasy survivors games with Poe1, they have a chance to do something new here.

We are literally robbing ourselves of something new and defining by screaming we want it to be like the old.
The entire point of releasing the game into early access is so that improvements can be made, though.

There will be many more balancing changes made to the game, both good and bad.

If you're suggesting that feedback not be listened to, and that the game was in a 1.0 release worthy state, then I'd suggest you need help.

Something new would be refreshing but the games also needs to be rewarding and accessible to the majority of the player base.

I think it's a bit premature to be crying about changes after a single patch has been released (hotfixes not counted).

If you spent as much time playing as you do WHINING you'd be level 100 already.

They weren't driven to make PoE 2 because of PoE balancing lol. They did it to make more money.

Like, reading some of the posts on this forum is making me more retarded than i already am and that's saying something. Fucking hell.
This post was sponsored by me.
GGG could fix this by adding ruthless or hard mode to POE2, like it is now, or was at launch regarding loot and difficulty.

The hardcore BDSM bros get their punishment, and the normal casuals that actually funded POE2 through ten years of supporting POE1 get what they want too.
It's not a lose, lose, its a win/win.

Yeah I value my time. if I this game becomes "grind 16 hours a day or GTFO" I will be out the door fast ^^

Nah happily married mate, your post was just cringe if i'm being completely honest with you.

Also not reading all that, it's probably just more of why you think you're right when I'm not interested in reading it. I just think you should delete your thread because it's cringe saying things like the magic has gone when referring to a week old game videogame that's obviously still being balanced.[/quote]

The magic from loot drops. It should remain exciting to get a rare drop.

My opinion was the balance was good from the get go. I'll keep it short for your attention span.
Honestly the drop changes are amazing, maybe have a hardcore mode with % reduced drops for the super hardcore bros who wanna suffer?

But personally, I don't like suffering when playing my games.

There has been NO LOOT PATCH. It's all in your head!

Are you disenchanting all the rare's and blues you dont need? Ive been doing that all campaign and have no issue with regals or other currency.

Not just that, I also make sure to pick up things with quality and sockets so I can salvage them.

I really get very few rares. Note that this was talking about launch day drop rates.

My point is, we're all talking about our own experiences, and some of us say "no I get too few drops", some of us say "no I get too many drops".

But none of us actually know if our experience is what the average player is experiencing, or whether we are the outliers.

Devs saw fit to raise the drop rates, and they obviously don't do it just from reading forum complaints. They obivously have all the server numbers on actual drops.

I believe if they think the new drop rates are too much, they'll tune it down again.

For now, I think it's probably best to not point fingers at other people (not specifically talking about you, mind me, just in general on the forum) and calling each other names.

I was very happy with the decision by GGG to make drop rates less common it really nailed the excitement of finding loot again in a video game

I played today for 4 hours and was suprised i got four uniques in that time and way over 20 rare's i was very dissapointed to be honest the magic that you had caught was gone in a flash, i wish sometimes you wouldnt listen to the playbase on certain topics.

Please reconsider your decision.

In 4 hours you got 4 uniques and "over 20 rares"
Each hour you got ONE UNIQUE and FIVE RARES.
That's NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING, compared to PoE 1...

People are in A3 Cruel in LEVEL 20 GEAR because getting upgrades was extremely tedious...

"I wish sometimes you wouldn't listen to the playerbase on certain topics."
You are also a part of that playerbase. Should they not listen to you? Which "part" of the playerbase should they listen to?
