Third and fourth ascendancy trials are completely unreasonable.

How much honor resistance and max honor do you have in your relics?

If you built less than 60% honor resistance, you cannot complain.

People also need to get out of the mindset of the 8 Ascendancy points just being the default right out of the gate. You are meant to work for them. They are meant to be notable milestones in character progression. You don't get them for basically free like in PoE1.

Honestly, I agree, though the answer is extremely simple. Make ascendancy runs special, having much simpler requisites.

In Sekhema's, honour should award more rewards, rather than kicking you out.

In Chaos, reduce the effect or number of modifiers you get.

In both cases, inform the player when the trial starts that this is a "basic" version of the trial for you to familiarize yourself with it. In both cases, allow the player to keep retrying a floor until they pass it and gain their ascendancy.

Ascendancy should not be a goal, but a core aspect of character growth. Everyone should be able to achieve it. Even the 4th one.

The 3rd method, which will be your 3 set of points, will come in the later acts. The 4th is something you will need to actually work at.

This isn't POE1, stop thinking like it is. It's not designed for everyone to have all 4 ascendancies with ease. It's not designed for everyone to have 6 links by day 2, nor is it designed for everyone to have level 20 gems on day 1.

It's a different game, with different standards. The fact that people are taking out pinnacle bosses without all of those things should be a hint that it's balanced around you NOT getting all of those things.

as someone with all points gained I say: Still the method to gain the points is ass. If you don't like Sanctum you will never have any desire to "git gud" in it so you are forced to do the trial of chaos with its multi layer of RNG. RNG to not roll brick nodes and then RNG to get the correct keys. My character pretty much steamrolled it but still it was not fun, I can imagine the pain of people who actually struggles in there...

Expect nothing less then 75%. So people are right to complain.

And you are wrong. 4th asendancy is not something super elite stuff only the highest top should be able to optain.

When the mechanics had been introduised as league-mechanics people made spezialist chars just to farm them. Now they are core-part of the game and ment to be made by ANY and ALL classes&specs! Pritty much like Lbyrint in PoE1.

That said a propper geared 1.0 ATS slam Titan has absolut the same right to be able to finish them as a 1000 Divine pimped Sparc-Archmage!

As such it must be posible to get all 8 points WITHOUT 7 days of pre-farming or any spezialist builds/equip!

Max honor res won't save you from run ruining floor 1 RNG. Floor 4 is also overtuned.

What are you possibly doing to brick a run on floor 1? That's straight up inting. Reaching the floor 3 boss should be as free as it gets with max honor res.

It would justify the difficulty if the 5-6 and 7-8th ascendancy points got you some godly nodes.. but this isn't the case.. it's generally a utility node that is clearly not even needed for endgame since you can do endgame without the ascendancy points anyway..

Feat of Strength to have completed it on warrior pre honor nerf.
