Third and fourth ascendancy trials are completely unreasonable.

Max honor res won't save you from run ruining floor 1 RNG. Floor 4 is also overtuned.
What are you possibly doing to brick a run on floor 1? That's straight up inting. Reaching the floor 3 boss should be as free as it gets with max honor res.

Well, it ain't. There are so many people defending these stupid trials that do not seem to get how lucky they got. No joke, EVERY run I have attempted on my Slam Titan has been ruined by RNG, be it with the afflictions in my path or the mobs I'm forced to fight. 75% honor res doesn't mean shit when I'm forced into a path that stacks bad affliction combinations, or fight a rare mob my build can't kill fast enough. I've tried Sekhema 6 times, and every single one has ended in a way that I physically could not prevent. That is not fun or fair or even something I can overcome through practice and knowledge.

Not RNG, your choices.

Learn to path better, never leave yourself with only 1 choice in room to go to. Plan out 2 rooms a head of where you are currently.
Yeah, his choices when the randomly generated map has afflictions down every path.

One of the most important aspects of Sanctum (Trial of Sekema) is how you plan and path through each room. You NEVER want to let yourself get into a position where you are forced into one room, because if that room has an affliction you can't handle you fail. You learn when to go for water, when to go for merchant, which afflictions you can handle, etc.

If you play correctly getting bricked on floor 1 is like winning the lottery, it's not going to happen. Yes, it gets harder as you go through the further floors, but the person I responded to claimed RNG bricks you on the first floor. Your choices can brick you on floor 1, but RNG not so much.
I will say, I got absolutely stomped my first attempt at the 3rd ascendancy mostly because I was an idiot and stepped on multiple traps not knowing wtf I was doing on ashkar. Next time I went in and rolled her with a pretty strong build. But it did feel rough until you realize you absolutely have to max honor resistance etc. And if you get unlucky with boons/affs it can just screw you.

4th ascendancy does seem pretty rough, even more so for melee.

Dude, I am farming this for unique jewel. What are you even on about? Do you have more lessons? xDDD

The only compromise I could accept is that doing floor 3 would just be floor 3. Sitting there doing 3 floors of sanctum is literally torture.

Granted I don't want to do even one floor of sanctum because it is not fun at all but if I have to, then at least just make it one floor.

The problem is that none of this is fun at all and the entire concept and the implementation is terrible.

Whoever chose Sanctum and Ultimatum for the ascendency in POE2 should be fired. These mechanics require specific builds, gearing, and knowledge to complete. Anyone who says otherwise is being disingenuous.

The funny thing is, I don't find Sanctum or Ultimatum to be that difficult normally but with how difficult it is to gear and the RNG of crafting in POE 2 it just isn't fun.
