i had tons of issues and died well over 200 times to single mobs holding you in place and bosses oneshotting you whilst you are prepping a chonky animation for a slam or strike. But nevermind i had also tons of fun and love engaging with content. My only real problem was that my struggle wasnt awarded by any meaningful drops but they gladly patched it
From my point of view, all the shortcomings could be forgiven and ignored, IF THERE WAS MORE LOOT!

One simple change, boosting the drop rate by at least 2x (ideally 5x in SSF which is what I play), would make me actually consider spending my (unfortunately) limited time playing the game.

In an upcoming hotfix, we'll be making it so that Raging Spirits can only summon 5 Raging Spirits per cast at all levels. They will also no longer be able to be spawned from triggered Fire Skills.

After this hotfix, we will be making adjustments to other Trigger Meta-Gems. In particular, we are going to be moving towards it being that you will not be able to apply very weak ailments from low level abilities to build energy. It is our intention that using low level skills with no investment is not an appropriate avenue to trigger copious amounts of high damage spells.


Look at the direction they are taking this game.
PoE1 was all about learning more and breaking the game with gear and synergies. they WANTED you to feel like you outsmarted the developers by finding powerful combos.

Now, if your combo isn't one of the pre-approved developer synergies, they shut it down. They aren't asking "how can we bring this level of enjoyment to as many playstyles as possible", they are focusing on making sure players have to use their intended playstyles.

A natural synergy as basic as a fast low damage skills being used to activate triggers is now off-limits. Tune down the balance, sure. But "Not Allowed" is not what we should be hearing unless there is no other option.

The game is in early access and been out for 5 days. How about less complaining and more constructive feedback.

It is not the player's job to design the game on behalf of a company with hundreds of employees and a decade of experience.

They can take the complaints and use the money that they made to spend time figuring out solutions.

If you leave a 1* review on a restaurant, nobody expects you to put recipes in your review for the restaurant to start making. Games are the same.

Because they have the base-mechanics of the game in Poe1.
they could redo the power-creep etc.

yet they strip it all out, into this dumb-down version,
like a poe1 ruthless mode.

on top of that they removed all the best of Poe1 features and complexity.

This game is not ready for EA.

if they want to make a different game - then call it a different name.
GGG should not be trading this EA, on the Poe franchise.
