"Many more players will come"? I checked Steam Charts this afternoon, during US gaming primetime on a weekend. Saturday the game had 538k max players, and today it had 352k max. They lost 200k players on the 3rd day, and thats just Steam. Games rarely ever gain more players over time, unless you are WoW, LOL, Minecraft etc. POE2 is never going to have as many players as it had on the first day of EA.

I can think of a game that gained a lot of players over time. I'll give you a hint: look up.

POE 2 as it stand will not retain players.

Then they would call them ARPGs not souls games.

Souls games are generally considered action RPGs. They share many characteristics with other games in the genre, such as Nioh, including a focus on challenging combat, intricate level design, and character customization.

been gaming since pong not heard anyone call Elden Ring an ARPG.

Yes, Elden Ring is definitely considered an action RPG (ARPG).

So diablo 4 and Elden ring are the same game, good to know.
it's not the difficulty , it's the something elce . It's annoying , not hard annoying .

P.S This game dose not feel anything like dark souls to me , the comparison is poor
Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

Learn the rules, it's the only way to exploit them.

I'm curious to know what aspects of the game you find annoying. Are there specific elements, like enemy encounters or loot distribution, that you feel could be improved?

I feel it's the lack of reward for the amount of Risk.
Example: Killing a Boss (which could take a number of deaths) gives rewards comparable to a random non-magic MOB in the area.
A gem, maybe 2 or 3 orbs.
Not even more XP relative to the difficulty.

Really, POE 2 one shot mechanics if you make 1 mistake. slow gear drops, gear builds and slow grinds to level. Roll, hit boss, roll, hit boss, roll, hit boss, miss roll die.

I'm seeing a lot of messages about the difficulty being too high for veteran PoE1 players.

Please don't nerf it. PoE1 veterans will adjust and eventually appreciate the challenge.

Many of them have been spamming the same two skills for years from cookie-cutter builds, thinking they're experts. They need to adapt to modern gameplay elements like reading animations, timing their actions, positioning strategically, and avoiding being surrounded.

Most of these "veterans" who've spent thousands of hours spamming two skills into hordes of enemies will get used to it. You might lose some players in the process, but they'll probably stick with PoE1 since there are fewer and fewer games with such simplistic combat these days.

Thank you. I have been so unable to make a decision about how best to enjoy my own games, myself, that what I was really needing was someone to tell me how it should be done, tell me how I should be reacting and take affirmative action to force me to play it the way they think it needs to be done.

I assume you are done restricting women's rights and this is the new place to go and force your agenda on others?

Seeing massive similarities in the complete lack of ability to empathize, accept different perspectives as legit, and a desire to force your agenda on others.

You know we can just put in the ability for us to choose and let each person play the way they want, and it wont affect you a bit. Unless people having choice is what offends you.
I'm done buying anything until we get some clarity on the future of POE1 and POE2 and I know GGG plans to spend effort on a game I want to play.

Tell us if POE1 still has your top tier support or if POE2 will get a mode for more casual play.
Yesterday a rare mob dropped 2 rare items. I know, I couldn't believe my eyes too. Of course, after clearing the entire zone, these two rares were all I got
