PoE2 Difficulty: A Necessary Challenge for PoE1 Veterans

I'm seeing a lot of messages about the difficulty being too high for veteran PoE1 players.

Please don't nerf it. PoE1 veterans will adjust and eventually appreciate the challenge.

Many of them have been spamming the same two skills for years from cookie-cutter builds, thinking they're experts. They need to adapt to modern gameplay elements like reading animations, timing their actions, positioning strategically, and avoiding being surrounded.

Most of these "veterans" who've spent thousands of hours spamming two skills into hordes of enemies will get used to it. You might lose some players in the process, but they'll probably stick with PoE1 since there are fewer and fewer games with such simplistic combat these days.

People won't adjust they won't play. They will find and arpg to play, not a souls game.

Yes, some will leave in the process, but many more will come.

Keep telling yourself that.
General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.

Uh, I am still spamming 2 skills my entire way, you know. The only thing I had to adjust to was to take it a little slower.

A really smart answer. This is feedback, deal with it if you can’t accept people having a different opinion.
OP and You both enjoy the game in a different way. No one is telling you that you should go back to POE playing ruthless if you want some challenge

No they won't, few people are going to want to do a 40+ hour slog fest of acts, then redo it all each time a season pops. its not happening in 2024. the few will the many wont.
