GGG - despite all the criticism, please don’t do this!
" Magic find makes a big diff. My team getting ex/regal every zone and crafting gear up. It picks up quite a bit in a5 with some MF, it never feels crazy but it feels much higher than ruthless (which was completely manageable btw if you see my ruthless profile chars) |

In the end it comes down to money. If GGG releases a game which doesn't allow 85% of players to move to the next act the 15% will be definitely satisfied but the the rest will not and it will hurt the company.
There is always room for demanding fights (I've done them ALL in POE1, several times over) but there's a catch. The demanding fights were placed where the 15% top players would enjoy them, still making it possible for the majority to at least finish the campaign. The issue here is vastly different. There was a point in farming maps in POE1 to get you top tier equipment allowing you to kill the pinnacle bosses. Is this a good design to ask ppl to farm to lvl 20 in locations on lvl 14 to get the gear and gemstones necessary to progress through the final boss in Act1? I hope for the GGG sake that they will act in their best interest. | |
" That's a catch-22. I didn't find loot with 'magic find', so I can't find loot with 'magic find'. |

I agree, the difficulty is really good during the boss fights. People need to remember that it’s their first time facing the bosses, and no one knows what skills they use. In Act 1, I died several times before I managed to learn how to dodge the cemetery boss’s abilities. At the beginning, dying is part of the process until you figure out how things work. Enjoy the gameplay! If the boss feels too difficult to beat, go back a few maps, level up a bit more, or swap out your gear—especially the weapon for those playing melee. So that’s what I think about the game; I’m really enjoying it!

Blah this is just bullox. I got completely stuck on the Titan Grotto boss at A2 due to lack of enough single target dmg + survival and what could I do?
- respec? Not much with such low amount of points at that level - new skills? no skill gems left to play around with - new gear? eh... what gear? Have had _one_ single good drop and zero vendor items of use. I managed on my 30th try or such with just some luck. Felt more like Dark Souls than Path of Exile tbh. And the reward? Trash loot. As from everything else. |

" What if the issue isn't just 'git gud' -- what if people had [measurable] psychometric barriers that prevented them from actually playing the game well enough?? Likely the most "disruptive" new element of the game is the frequency with which you have to Dodge-or-Die and how key that is to core character progression. Assuming you've done what you can with gearing, passives, and skills -- which I think a lot of experienced players are doing what they can .. the one thing left [reaction time / processing speed / pattern recognition] is likely the key issue. Depending on the test involved an "elite" person will react 2-3 times faster than an average person. An average person in their prime will react 2-4 times faster than someone "more seasoned". Even within those averages there are huge individual variances. The gotcha is that there is NOT a good solution for this issue. If you have elite reactions [fighter pilot?] and the game is balanced for a "normie" then there's zero challenge for you. If you're a normie but the game is balanced around a "distracted senior citizen's reaction time" then you're bored senseless. |

GGG will tune the bosses and it's a crying shame.
My friends and I played D1-4, Grim Dawn, PoE1, etc. and mostly slept through them (D1 and D2 were fun). PoE2 is the most fun we've had in an ARPG game and it's so refreshing. They should fix the fat roll though. Also faster Res. We love that skills combine (e.g. shooting arrows through a flame wall adds fire) and more synergies like that would make our day. I hope there's enough players like us: Dying is fun, learning is fun, grinding gear is not. |

" I know it's dumb to ask but it doesn't hurt going over a few things: 1. Is your health flask rolled to automatically regain charges?? If not try rolling one. 2. If your damage is based mostly on your weapon do you have a good base with a decent +% damage role on it?? I'd still be stuck in act 1 or 2 if I didn't' drop an already decent weapon and if I didn't "craft" [RNG] an already decent other weapon to "very nice" status. 3. [I'm guilty of this one] .. Have you done a good job of scavenging every socketed item you can and scrapping it for a shard so you can socket runes into your equipment a little more easily?? 4. Does your passive tree and gear give at least some mitigation, +life, or recovery of some sort?? 5. Try the trade site .. it might work -- https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2 I know I should have used this as I've "wasted" a lot of my Exalts, Regals, etc. with very little to show for it other an a former blue item that's not much better. If you can get geared to the max and it's still hard then the game might not be for you. Note: I already uninstalled as I don't like the design philosophy behind the prevalence of "dodge-or-die" mechanics. |

Bump this up 100%!
Just my 50p here: Please gives us more loot in maps. If a build is strong don't nerf it too hard! Outside of these 2 points, the game is wonderful! Loving the challenge! (I am a POE 1 player, and I have played many leagues) |
