I've never died to the same boss more than once.
Ok, then don't play? Their goal isn't to have the most amount of players possible.
Congrats to you but when even experienced players and actually good streamers die from act 1 bosses multiple times it simply is not a skill issue anymore but in fact a game balancing issue. And guess what: It is version 0.1 of the game, so the type of feedback that says: "Guys, take another look at some of the damage that comes in and how it does" is exactly why we have Early Access. We don't have early access so that everyone can say "Good job GGG, no complaints whatsoever, bye." That would be absolutely pointless.
Also: Their goal might not be to have the most amount of players possible in the game but since it has been actually communicated that PoE2 was/is supposed to be the more approachable game compared to PoE1, all i see at the moment is that while it might be aproachable in terms of understanding how stuff works, it is definitely the more difficult and punishing game from the two (during the campaign that is). And i am not exactly sure this will contribute to it attracting more/new players to the series.
My guess is: They started off in version 0.1 giving us basically the hardest version of the game they think is viable. But they will adjust from there and the game will become easier. But they will keep the core philosophy of PoE2, which is the slower gameplay. And i actually like that.
For real seeing Ben and Conor die like a noob to hasted white mobs with tons of hp.. LOL and someone says audacity to say get good. Really good? better than Ben?

Number 1 issues is drops IMO. As the guy said about getting cold rings for act 1 boss, that would be a great solution I agree.
IF ANYTHING ACTUALLY DROPPED!
Oh and gold is wack so getting it off the vendors if hard af as well.
One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.

It's sad to see another game overtaken by 'git gut' crowd

Unfortunately, the inevitable has come – we’re seeing many opinions about PoE 2 being "too difficult," often written by people who expect the game to practically play itself. Many games, including souls-like titles, have gone through this same phase and unfortunately, not all developers were brave enough to stick to their original vision and keep the game as they intended.
The game is absolutely not too difficult! Those claiming otherwise simply haven’t yet grasped the rules of the beautifully crafted world you’ve created. I’m speaking from the perspective of a PoE1 player who spent most of my time using pre-made builds. I’m not even a hardcore Souls player. Currently, I’m in Act III, and I’ve died around 60 times. Despite that, I believe this is an incredible experience that will be remembered by many for a very long time.
However, for this wonderful experience to continue, you must not give in to the criticism about difficulty or complaints about bosses being overpowered. Don’t make the same mistake as the developers of Lies of P or Elden Ring. The game is excellent, and the vast majority of players surely enjoy the current level of difficulty far more than they would after the introduction of nerfs. Critical voices will fade faster than you think, and more and more players will want to join this amazing journey.
So, on behalf of myself and everyone who doesn’t rage quit after the first boss, I ask you – please don’t introduce nerfs. You’ve created something incredible, and don’t let inexperienced players ruin it!
To the players:
For heaven’s sake, understand that dying during a boss fight doesn’t mean the game is poorly balanced or too hard! Reflect on your approach to the fight, the boss’s attacks, your build, and the skills you’re using. If you still can’t beat it, just step back and level up a bit more. Start experimenting and simply learn the mechanics instead of pouring out complaints that might ruin the masterpiece that is PoE2.
Agree! I had some of my best gaming moments from this game. It's not difficult most of the time once you know how to play it. Some bosses were hard but felt amazing after beating them. Making the campaign trivially easy will take away all those amazing experiences.
The people complaining in this forum are the minority, the people enjoying the game which is the majority are too busy playing.

Agreed.
People having trouble with the early acts really just need to dig deep and do better. It is not this huge undertaking they make it out to be.
And melee is perfectly capable of damage AND the sanctum run. So there is a lot that is just not true going around, its just high egos with some people thinking the game is the problem when they die or have issues, but not them.
I would say there is definitely room for tweaks and what not but nothing on the level that the loud people here are asking for. They want POE1 reskinned as POE2 from what it seems, which is not happening.
The majority though, in the hundreds of thousands, are enjoying the game. Its only the few select minority here that are stuck in Acts I/II and saying its too hard, or melee cant do sanctum, or melee has no damage ... etc..
It is what it is. End of the day have to hope GGG puts their foot down like they have in the past and not buckle to it.
Melee is awful dude, its absolute trash, its not tanky enought to survive stuff, clunky, slow, the skills are overral trash.
No money until, GGG fix melee.

Ben is a human. The game is not like PoE1. Ben was the greatest PoE 1 competitor because of his inhuman levels of efficiency. He is smart, and calculated in his approach. That doesn't mean he will automatically divine the best way of playing a game after barely a day playing it. Very strange argument to be making about the difficulty.

Ben is literally one of the best isometric ARPG players ever, if even he is having difficulty then it says something about the difficulty being at least a little overtuned.

That's the point.
When I mentioned inexperienced players, I was referring to gaming experience in general. For example, having 10,000 hours in PoE1 but never playing anything else doesn’t necessarily make you an experienced player, because these games are completely different. In PoE2, everyone starts with a tabula rasa, and it all comes down to your approach.

Agreed. I think a big part of the issue here is loot scarcity, but people also just need to 'git gud' and adapt to this new approach to combat.
