Absolutely disapointed -- This game is hard, and not in a fun way.

I also just gave up on act 1 end boss..

I do not find it fun nor enjoyable doing the same fight over and over again until you get muscle memory of the fight, which can still 1 shot you if you do a bad roll, or until you magically get a useable drop which haven't happened yet, all my gear is from the vendors, what kind of ARPG is that?..

I was one of those who didn't really believe the "souls like" moniker put on the game, but it is,and as i HATE souls like games precicely because they are too hard and slow for me, POE2 just isn't for me in this iteration.

A game should be fun and enjoyable, this is simply frustrating and i have quit the game until either retail, or pathes have been done to either chose difficulty or tune the boss and mobs..

POE1 i got a LOT of hours in,and no mobs or boss fight is as hard as the ones in POE2 act1, and you rather quickly get powerful enough to breeze through the campaign..

I really hope the game gets a difficulty setting, or gets a lot of tuning tp the hp and damage of mobs and bosses..

And please spare me the "git gud" dumbass comment, not all of us are game savants that find enjoyment figuring a boss out for hours on end..
the biggest problem is the loot im in middle of act2 and im still using gear from act1 because its the best i got
also why in early game do you get resistant enemies that regenerate life took me 15 min to kill rare mob and 3 min for boss
buff the drop rate for currency and gold during the acts and nerf the life of rare magic and normal monsters they drop nothing but vendor trash so its frustrating

Game is way harder than it should be and very tedious and boring so far.Very disappointed.
First ARPG without loot and not being ARPG. Can't wait for Last Epoch next season.

Agree with everything you said.
Making the game Dark Souls: The ARPG version was certainly a choice.
Out of interest to those who think it's easy would you mind letting those of us who think it's too damn hard to progress. HAVE YOU GOT A DECENT WEAPON or something to make your build work???

I think I have played every arpg in the last 10-15 years and this is unrecommendable to most. Just a subset of dedicated poe masochists.

cast click, move click, cast click, move click is bad game play. So much kiting and stun lock

Casting a spell, then interrupting it with another spell feels broken/bad/not arpg.


I think the rare fights should not be as long, or one long one every other map or so.

Just rerolled to minion witch because cold sorc at 14 was getting rocked.


This feels catastrophic and should have been worked into poe.

Poe1 is now psychologically off putting

You're gonna have an awful time with minion witch. The minions are made out of paper. They will simply deal 0 damage on boss fights, because they die the literal milisecond they respawn again. On clearing they're "in the way" at best.
