Quick heads up: Melee is completely terrible.

If you're thinking "WHAT THIS GAME SUCKS" reroll caster or minions. Melee is nearly useless at the moment. Don't judge the game by a single class, there is work to be done here. If you think melee is bad, thats because it is actually completely trash, its not just your imagination. Melee classes need massive buffs, cooldown reductions and move speed increases across the board, period. Just play something else for now.
All God's children do violence.

Are we playing the same game? I'm cruising through the campaign with bleed slams.
sounds like a

skill

issue
bruh what bruh bro bro bruh what
Ya there is some work arounds for using skills in place but the momentum movement feels "floaty" not weighty and impactful , my hot take is melee at least warrior feels off.
I'm having a fine time melee.

Went rolling slam with bone shatter.

Learn to roll I guess, that was the weird part for me but I like it.

poe2's movement:

"It looks like we broke something with 3.10.0. We don't know what it is yet." - Bex, March 16th, 2020
You may be right. I am a sorceress with some skeles to tank and everything dies in seconds and I have never been anywhere close to dying, or even below 75% health. But I'm not sure how I would do some of this stuff as melee.
Monk feels OK while clearing, but falls off hard in boss fights where he can't generate power charges.

And we NEED a "attack in place" checkbox on skills, like in PoE 1.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

There is attack without moving just like PoE1.

Interesting. Thanks.
