I think you really don't understand that more than a million people will farm every single day , thausands of items each. The economy in the game will die before it even has time to form. Simply because there will be hundreds of thousands of each item in the game. Just like every league dies in two months, it will happen here too, but much faster, because the influx of people is incredibly huge. We need to get rid of them somehow...
I see only two solutions to the problem:
1. give players the opportunity to donate valuable items, on an equal basis with other players, for some kind of reward. This way we will be able to not devalue most of the loot in the game, as happens in poe1
2. durability of items, currency for repair, destruction of items to get this currency. Combining broken items into one. Drop of items of different durability. Debuffs on broken items. Currency at the price of a mirror, making the item permanently unbreakable.
If you have any ideas on how else to save the economy in the game, please give an alternative, and don't just say that it's a bad idea. After all, if you don't have an alternative, then these are the only correct solutions to breathe new life into the economy.
Well numbers looks diffrent than you think:
1. first of all this 1m player will be devided between sc hc and ssf(sc/hc)
2. most of thoes players will be newbies or semi-newbies
3. even experienced players dont know game yet - so overall progress will be much slower than at poe1 leagues
So worst what would happend - overstacking and/or underprized alts and/or chaoses - but its not sure cose some of newbie players may burn more currency than its nessesary just to learn so it can stabilize - also big procentage of that 1m players will end game in like week or two from various reasons.
To be honest you are propably currency flipper and for players who does that i REALY HOPE that your "economy" get destroyed - in this case its super good that players who only sit in town and trade cant progress cose of too much items at market - go and play a game instade of trade/flip currency - this kind of "destroyed economy" is super good for the game, and flipers should stop crying.
I just want to be able to go to the boss, kill him, get something interesting and sell it. And for it to be bought. So that my efforts would be worth something, and not have to buy 500 enterence for the eater of worlds for three and a half mirrors to knock out one nimis ring for projectiles for 170 divines. I want it to be like this not for two weeks, but always. But the more and longer people play, the more items hit the market, the more already min-maxed builds and so on and the economy dies, so that no matter what you farm, nothing makes sense. I have a large tab of T1 fractures on 100% bases at cheap prices. Absolutely no one buys a single fraktur, even for two arrows, and spell suppression on armor, I understand that bows are not in the meta, but still I'm shocked that no one needs anything, the same meta Relakesh boots and the Svalin shield in Lightning Strike and Ice Nova of Frostbolts, meta build i ve spend tauns of currency to double corrupt them for spell supression + 1 max endurance charge / block chance + less crtical strike damage taken ... I'm not even talking about the amulet that is crafted from 4 parts with maximum resistances, damage suppression, 40% spell casting speed, elemental damage penetration... No one will ever buy it. I want that when I roll three implicits on clothes, pouring in several mirrors and not getting what I need, and at the same moment the best items can be given for a free mirrorservice at the free web site made by fourchan youtuber. I want to open a hundred unique gems of each type and sell whatever nodes I get for at least some currency and not just delete them because no one needs them.

Its so funny to see this currency flippers crying about the "economy" lmao.
GGG can easily solve this if they implement a unified global market in the game.
This will also mitigate RMT sites.

Anything is possible, but even if you say 20% of people will farm boss pinnacles, that's 20% of a growing million people, even if by some miracle half of the people just quit the game in two weeks) Although something tells me that most of the people who bought the game will play much longer. Well, even in the worst case scenario, there are tens of thousands of players farming bosses in large quantities every day. It's just how it works: the faster you level up, the faster you become stronger and can farm other content. When you're already super leveled up, you craft top-end expensive gear. So buying items will be very cheap because there are an incredible number of players. And believe me, even 20,000 people in the endgame will be able to easily sponsor other people with items from high-level content, which means it will be much easier and faster for all the other players to get to this content. And let's say there will be not 20,000 but 40,000 people who farm bosses and make items even cheaper, and then two weeks have passed and already 80,000 with good clothes can calmly fight off bosses, and no one needs the items anymore, because there are so many of them and they continue to drop that there is nowhere to put them.
What you're not seeming to get though is that this is an Early Access and honestly people being overgeared would be a good thing for testing purposes especially before the first league comes out.
I also don't know if you've played PoE for long, but the majority of anyone with "top-end expensive gear" is low almost every league and that is with being able to die 6 times a map.
There is no league on Early Access launch and to be frank I think the majority of the players that will be in EA are just interested in trying the game and won't play for more then 2 weeks, at least not until the league comes out. They just want to test the classes, play through the 3 acts and maybe dip their toes into endgame, and more then half of them are most likely casuals.
Honestly though economy issues is not something I care about until the release of the game.

The alternative is that this guy is cooked or trolling lol!
The economy will stabilize itself with time, you think 1 million players will farm every day? Nah, there will be a lot of people quitting after a few days, a lot of casual players maybe because the game will be hard, harder than POE 1. I'm pretty sure you are trolling, but if you are not..then you are cooked mate.

I love how some people can see the future on a game that is not even complete, they havent played, or know very much about making posts like they have been playing for 10 years.
