More then a million players, farming. ECONOMY WILL DIE IN 2 WEKKS!
Doomsaying before the metrics of doomsaying can be calculated, and then claiming a step ahead because... trust me bro.

" It's been the exact same for PoE 1 this whole time, not just that, but imagine that the kind of item that drops for EVERY player is the kind of item that is not... get this... rare! Almost like rarity exists. If your argument had merit, everyone should have a Mageblood by week 2, and Headhunter should literally be a couple chaos. |

No no, trust them, they're a step ahead.

Million registered is not the same as million players when each pc versions gets 3 keys. Standalone, steam, epic... I did not register any keys tbh because standalone you don't have to. I could add 2 more players right now if I did thouugh !
One sad Exile

Nah, in the linked video he specifically says "surpassed 1 million orders for PoE 2" so it implies that there really are 1 million people who bought EA-Keys

The thing is that the economy of po1 has always been built in the form of a pyramid. Where one layer rushes the game in a pack to the endgame, sponsoring all the other steps. In general, this is simple mathematics, when more than a million people fly into the game, items will drop tens of times more than in the first part. More players will farm this or that content immediately destroying its value, because in the first part different people gradually got to different types of content. It will be the same here, but the number of people will increase tens of times, the developers themselves directly state that they did not expect so many players. Isn't it clear that if 100,000 people farm conditional delirium, then this is already twice as much as the maximum peak online, as the person above wrote in the comment. I will not tire of repeating that 20 times more people have already gathered, the number is growing, the hype is growing. This means that 20 times more people will farm each type of content and sponsor others, and so that they buy from you and not from others, you lower the price, which means more and more people get a cheap way to top items and min-max builds and extreme game farming, and what happens in the league when the majority reaches this level? That's right, the league is dying, why should I explain such primitive things? In short, the economy with a million people will collapse very quickly, it's simple mathematics, if you don't know how to count and offer solutions to a problem, but only comment, then go somewhere else.

" People are gonna be corrupting things with Vaal orbs and destroying them on a daily basis, and you make it sound like good rare drops are common. Getting rare items with perfect modifiers isn't something you simply farm, as for the best unique items they'll probably come from Pinnacle's which I guarantee you a million+ players wont be farming, let alone a couple hundred thousand. I think 20% at most will actually fight the Pinnacle boss more then once, and we're suppose to be getting a league sometime during Early Access so none of the items are even going to matter anymore half way through EA. It'll all just be collecting dust in the graveyard of Standard at some point. Also if you don't like the economy just go play SSF, instead of trying to find a solution and make it out to be some big deal. Last edited by firenovix#6291 on Dec 6, 2024, 9:25:41 AM

MFQUANT#4363 I talked to the suppor they explained me , that key not giving the acces to the early acces of Path of exile 2, it fused to the accaunt. So if u got steam key or epick games store key , you having only one acces to the game. Its not working like u bought 1 key and got 3 :D

" Bro you're only exposing your own lack of understanding of basic economics. In PoE 1, rare items are rare. IF we assume an equal distribution for all players in PoE 2 according to 1 (so the same % of people will run bosses, same % will quit before maps, etc) Then we arrive at the conclusion that nothing changes. Demand will increase 10x. Supply will increase 10x. Nothing will change. Whether 200 people are farming bosses and 2000 want the items they drop, or 2000 people farm them and 20000 people want their drops, the ratio remains the same. |

lulz this is funny shit
There is no meaningful economy. It's an early access. No winners, no losers, no endgame You play, you enjoy, you give meaningful feedback to devs for the full release in a year's time. Guessing there's no grass where you live |
