This makes no sense to me, there’s nothing stopping you from downloading the standalone client and redeem a key on steam when it comes back, is there? Because that’s what I’ve done/will do.

I wasnt able to buy on the website so I bought through Epic myself. And my poe account still says: "Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Bribe a friend who has a spare key or purchase now."

Guessing lots of us gonna be locked out from launch due to similar issues because there is no core API system in place to handle/update shit :P

You want to support GGG? Then play on the standalone client.

Why are you complaining?

If you're on Linux and the standalone client doesn't work, then just make a partition on your drive and download Windows lol.

You can remove them when you get your steam key.

Have you linked your PoE and Epic accounts?

Since you bought it from Epic, downloading and playing on Epic should work no matter what the website says. If your accounts aren't linked properly you'll just not have access to any MTX until they are.

If yall are losing it now. I can't wait to read the comments in a few hours when it goes live and the servers break. Earlier this week Jonathan said they planned for 1 million. And I'm sure some of you have seen the video a few hours ago where he said over 1 million keys have been claimed. I believe there were way too many keys handed out. Many streamers giving away 10 plus keys. I think the more expensive packs should have come with one more. They are working to get more servers online. So expect queue times. I hope yall didn't call off work. It is going to be a sh!t show soon. However, I support GGG. They will get it right. Then again I'm not sure at the moment if they should go with more servers. I bet quite a few people are not going to keep playing because it is too hard or not as friendly with skills etc as other lesser games. They will run back to the other ones.

It’s very simple, if you buy a pack on PoE 2’s steam page, you get it on steam. If you buy it outside of there, you get the standalone. GGG allow you to also get it on steam even when you haven’t directly bought it on steam, but that’s using a limited number of keys. They run out for now, they’ll come back later.

It's very simple really. The top three packs literally aren't on the Steam store, you can ONLY buy them on the PoE2 site, so those of us who want to buy one of them, but also use Steam, have no option to just go buy it on Steam store.

You can just buy a lower pack and then upgrade to the higher pack from in-game?

Standalone was allways the thing. :)
I can understand the frustration and newer player dosnt share the same "friendship" with GGG.But it dosnt matter if we play today or tomorrow,just watch less streamer and enjoy what u get when u get. We havent that big cummunity @poe1 alpha and have to figure out most things for ourself ... and it was a blast.These days we just know how good/better GGG Team are. So its fine if i can play 1 day later or not, i mean i play poe1 since alpha and at one point it wasnt a "race" anymore ... just the enjoyment.
