STEAM KEYS > We all paid for them right? Where did they go?

Oh, sometimes there are bad batches of steam keys, either they don't unlock anything or they aren't steamy enough or something, I'm certain they're working hard to get those batches steamed up and ready for ya.

10 hours to download would be ~20 mbps and i don't know of any ISP with a tier at that rate.

I claimed a steam key but it just unlock the game on steam and grants no EA so basically the steam key is useless and you cant even upgrade your pack from there. not only that you cant remove the steam key without buying steam EA it seems. doesnt sound like this was intended maybe idk but it sucks. like they are running seperate EA programs...

That's weird. I claimed my Steam key and started the download before the stand alone became available, so I know it works.

This may be a problem between Steam and GGG that they need to resolve.

Oh I can download from steam but it says I dont have early acess there and cant upgrade my EA level there as it says i need to buy it still. so I think I have the free poe2 game acess only which is stupid.
Hi @ grovernors#4172 - The steam key only allows you to preload the game. You can check their site for the release time tomorrow - it's 10:25pm cst here. It launches at 1pm cst in US on 12/6.

Happy Gaming

Did you actually go to the Steam activation section and put your key in? I think you have to do that with your key. Otherwise, you are simply downloading the game for a non-EA release.

Yes you need to go the activation option under games in steam. Then you can download it and the button will light up tomorrow. Night :)

There's millions of users around the world with hardware limited connection speeds due to ageing infrastructure.
Unclear why the Steam keys aren't available, kind of annoying I can't pre-load that, but oh well. Downloading the standalone client and will deal with steam later.

single copper pair is good up to 6 gbps at 300 yards. Aging infrastructure is code for service providers trying to game out some government subsidies.
