There is no leaderboard and the Early Access is 6 months minimum, no reason to complain about there being no preload aside from being selfish.
You basically want them to allow datamining for your own personal gains.

Well that sucks, misleading to put something in the FAQ and then rugpull it. Preload pretty important for me.

I'm in NZ and I get over 100MB download speeds on a GB connection. The RSI launcher got to 120MB/s though steam only about 95. Not sure about the standalone launcher on day one... but that's what I'll be using, perhaps at my own peril.
Should take about 20 minutes to download for me. Multiply that by whatever 1000/your DL speed churns out to get your download time.
2GB connection here, in NZ too .. though only get ~130-160MBPS on Steam .. should be just enough time to make a coffee and a snack.
