T17s are still an overtuned mess that are also annoying to roll

Mhm, I think Fortress was only bad with -res and increased aoe for me. His spinning move does alot more damage with increased aoe it seems and of course his channeled slam, but that one isn't hard to dodge. Otherwise I think he's not that bad.

" yeah if i dodge i dont die but i can tank almost anything else i tried with this build so i should be able to tank him also...hence why these maps are still overtuned. i dont believe for a second that the bosses were nerfed as much as they claimed in the livestream |

Ah I see, ok if u try to tank everything that might be a bit sketchy. I think I tanked the slams before, but I usually dodge them, because the dmg varies with map mods too much to be comfortable with it.
I acutally have no problem with Slams doing a high amount of damage as long as there's a windup and u can dodge them manually. I'm not really familiar with how tanky the meta trickster right now is. It all depends on how much max hit u can take. Should a slam like that do as much damage as a Uber Shaper slam? Maybe. Should it do as much as Uber Sirus Meteor? Probably not. |

i have 90% phys dmg reduction and i think that boss does phys damage so yeah...it def shoudlnt 1 shot me esp when i'm leeching the damage i do to him on top of everything else. my annoyance is that in the livesteram they said something like " we accidentally had 2 guys work on it so it got double nerfed" yeah right.

"Found the issue. You lack fundamental knowledge and understandings. The game telling you have 90% physical damage reduction doesn't actually mean you reduce 90% of incoming physical damage. " This seems to be such a huge issue for people to understand. Sidtherat just had a problem understanding this basic fundamental a few days ago with endurance charges. Just because you see 90% PDR on your character, doesn't mean you should start drawing conclusions how much damage it can or cant take. Or has reached its limit on PDR... So you need to learn a bit more about that; we could go into specifics but you hide your character tab. The Unbreakable, the boss in fortress. It really depends what you are rolling on the map, but none of his melee should one shot your character if it has proper defensive's. These are its weakest attacks. Since the character tab is hidden, there is no way to really know how much PDR and overcap you have or dont have, or even what mechanics you have....or even what build you are playing. So theres no reason for you to mention leech as that is pretty meaningless here... You shouldnt be dying to his melee if you built your character correctly though. Thats up for you to accept or not. The only things that are capable of mass damage in that fight arent even melee, its the big aoe charged beam, and the rotating beams in intermission... Or standing on top of him while hes spinning I guess... Just so you know though; as it seems to be a bit of confusion on your end. His melee slam is not physical it is 50% lightning/physical

i didnt say i died to melee hits. it was the rotating beam that killed me. if i can tank kosis in wave 15 simu then i should be able to tank him too. these maps are just poorly balanced. i dont know why it always has to be the characters fault.
my friend plays the same build and he can tank everything even ghosted feared. he just has a MB and so he gets a ton more armor since his flask is always up. |

To the conversations about phys reduction, sure you can use third party tools and websites with datamined info all you want. But that still means the game itself sucks at conveying the actual information and stats of your character. Like 50% of dps tooltips on builds are probably inaccurate and a complete lie in-game, and it showing 90% physical damage reduction but not actually being that much is just the game literally lying to you. Maybe they'll have better menus in poe 2 to show all that info and they can port it over into this game, because we shouldn't have to go to all these external sources and 3rd party tools just to understand how the game works and how it's lying to us lol
