Sweep is definitely my 'go-to' levelling gem for marauder. With RT and it takes you quite a way!! I switched to Lightning Strike at around level 35 or so, but sweep could have taken me to 50 atleast!

To add to this, the game doesn't start at level 66. It starts at level 1. Maps is just one part of the game, lots of people enjoy rerolling and leveling new characters.

It may work well in act 2 cruel, but that doesn't mean anything at all for end-game.

@topic: How fast is your weapon? The most annoying thing about sweep imho is that you are stuck in the animation for so long; especially if there weren't actually any mobs near you because of desync.
