This game has an elite rich and a very vast poor population (Currency system is broken)
" What if you play let's say, 7x7 hours, it's not 7x12, but still have crap gear? Because nothing drops, "crafting" isn't crafting to help with that and so on? I've been in that very position, played like an addict up to 83, have no 5Ls, have no cool "build-defining" uniques (on my char), and my gear is below average? By 83 I think you should get not awesome, but rather good gear, not based entirely on luck, but also based on what content you should run by that level (I'd say lvl 71+ maps). Yet, I was not able to upgrade my gear ONCE in maps, from 74 to 83, excluding some alched rings :) And you guys keep forgetting it is an RPG. You fucking play for the damn gear. By the time you are high level, good gear should be made more available, then great gear, then amazing gear. It's still very hard to reach 100. At least make the game rewarding enough from a gear perspective, in classic ARPG style. And amazing gear makes the game enjoyable to play, because you can run around pew-pew-ing things, while in below average like me, you advance one totem-length at a time... it would be absolutely crazy to not want the amazing gear available to help you in the endgame. placeholder for creative sig Last edited by Undon3#5633 on Apr 25, 2013, 5:27:33 PM

" They definitely did up the game at OB. But my uniformed crafting skills let me enjoy map content. Only took two bad builds to find a map farmer I was happy with. Of course after that the alts were on easy street. Fight censorship

" This was depressing reading this :( |

Or you can start streaming the game, and sell the gear that you get faster than in an AH, and get enough currency to experiment on rolling 6Ls and chancing Kaoms, and still remain with craptons of currency afterwards.

the best way is to allow players to trade their lower currency for higher ones
that will change the way players approach the higher level stuff and still allow the less hard core to gain the rare currency |

" Once you hit maps, there is no penalty. If you farm docks (which you never should), the penalty is very very small. |

" Not really At least in Australia (which honestly is more "free market" and "capitalist" then America) we have a massive middle class, small "rich" and small "poor" If I am assuming you mean America, than America is far from capitalist. They have a massive government with huge handouts to various sectors, amongst things like bailing out the banks and not letting them fail. They also have a ridiculously massive government, and one of the highest spending of government funds proportional to GDP America has so many anti capitalist principles that its stretching it quite far to call them capatalist IceLand is probably the most capitalistic country at the moment, and the government actually sued the banks that caused the GFC instead of bailing them out The whole point of capatalism is to make "everyone" rich, the whole rich versus poor argument is incredibly relative anyways Last edited by deteego#6606 on Apr 25, 2013, 10:56:43 PM

You're forced to backtrack, unless you go to the end of a pier and tp

" I am surprised it became the go to place to grind. In alpha I was doing city, catacombs (it had a static large chest at that time) and lunaris 1/2. I hate docks layout, at least catacomb had a chest but, ya about that. Finished 17th in Rampage - Peaked at 11th
