This game has an elite rich and a very vast poor population (Currency system is broken)

Some weeks ago i used to sell nice rares i found in high level maps, also quality gems.

Max i had was like 100gcp (yes 5 stacks), 2 ex pure, 200+ chaos and alchs.

No longer avaiable since everyday there are more and more items in the game and with that "trade system" (which is sad imo) it is impossible to sell some stuff

Most of people with 20+ exalts are people with tons of forum gold who trade in d2jsp

So yea since trade is a pain in the ass (last 2-3 weeks) i dont even try to sell any stuff, just keep it in my stash for future characters, but problem is i dont even play maps at all now since i have no enough currency to mantain a high level map pool and i dont want to wear 120% IIQ for being able to play the endgame

The biggest issue I see is this game GOES ALL OUT and caters to a hard core mentaility, the designers designed the game this way. The reality of the situation your normal gamer plays the game casually. There needs to be better chances at getting better currency items in game.

No. Almost every game that is made today caters to casuals. If there's a single game out there that does not, that's not an issue, it's a blessing. Accept that maybe this game is not for you and find a game that suits your playstyle.

BTW- your opinion is yours, but know it now that it's shared by a very very small game community.

100 GCP's ???? Christ....Curious how often do you play? How many hours per day?
I've personally spent that much on upgrading my gems. Let alone items, maps, etc.

That's insane
Exalted shards would go a long way to solving much of the problems in this game.

This game was made with hardcore audience in mind. This is just my opinion, it has been said numerous times by devs themselves. What you (and many other people on this forum) are trying to argue is essentially to make the game what it was not supposed to be in the first place.

Every coin has it's sides. Recently devs upped the so called "common unique" drop rates, and while many on this forum would see that as a step to the right direction, it also caused trade chat to be flooded by newbies trying to sell their useless uniques. Also seeing that these uniques were at most 1alch-1chaos each, they were always in reach of every player. Now they're worth as much as the vendor recipe yields.
Played since May 2012 almost every day I think, just 1 or 2 hours at a time though. Never seen an exalted orb.

If they weren't so freakin rare then people wouldn't feel then need to go to RMT sites.

I already had enough Silverbranches, Broadstrokes, and Springleafs to last a lifetime of characters. Everyone did. I don't think very many people felt like the unique drop rate was the problem. Especially the uniques no one uses because they are level 14 and do nothing useful.
