Max Grizzly and its synergies

Basically, I let my mercenary and Grizzly take all the enemies, while I spammed Fissure and Firestorm. Firestorm, for a level 1 skill is incredibly powerful. Fire Immunes were a problem though.
I was playing singleplayer v.1.13. My gear was horrendous. I remember still having some stuff from normal. I killed Baal as lvl.86. Yeah, too low, but I just couldn't grind any more. It was so boring and frustrating.
Currently I'm playing with a pure Werebear, and it's also viable, thanks to the incredible Shockwave, but he is more gear dependent.

Assassin

Favourite build was to use primarily claws of thunder and blades of ice with dual claws. With physical damage and two elements you could kill anything, and shadow disciplines made the character very versatile.
Combat never seemed dull, there was always something to be doing - strategically switching between different elemental attacks, darting in and around blinded enemies, using a summon, choosing where best to unleash your finishers, etc.

It was much more engaging than something like a zeal pally or concentrate barb, where you mostly just pre-buffed and then held down attack.

Templar.. dear lord I loved Thorns.

First time I got to Hell and Duriel killed me in one hit... had a wake up call.


After that, the Necromancer. Army of skeletons, nothing is better than that.

My girlfriend was/is playing a Javazon - Thunderjab I think it was called? Or Lighteningjab? >.>

Her brother is playing a Barbarian, though has recently decided a Nercomancer would be funner. :)

I played many more, but those were my love.

Bowsorc (Kuko Shakaku, whatever the piercing belt was called). I adored shooting an arrow through a cluster of cows and seeing it blow up on every one!

Then I had a Bonemancer I loved as well. I would trap entire mob clusters, kill a couple and start a corpse explosion chain reaction. Good times.

Paladin Zealot (Fanatism aura and Zeal)

Now that is how you play hack 'n slash.

I enjoyed playing as a Sorcerer and Druid.

Like so many that posted here, I too enjoyed the Necromancer the most. I also liked the Sorceress, as I've always enjoyed slinging magic spells at my enemies. So obviously, when I finally get into PoE (whether through CB or OB) I'll end up being a Witch.
