Did you play D2? What was your favourite class?

started with barbarian but necomancer ended up being a lot more fun for me
Barbarian because then you can beat the hell out of people.
My favorite class from D2 was by far the sorceress. More specifically - a firewall sorceress. I would magic find Mephisto constantly and occasionally cows (took a bit more concentration). I would have my account with just one MF sorceress and 7 mules, never to trade or make new characters.

Now that I think about it, what the hell was I doing?
I like the Assasin's martial arts skill tree. I love the idea of charges and how u can charge up multiple times and use a finsher move to deal lots of damage. Also the elemental AoE charge effects and life steal charge was my fav moves. I was never that good at pvp tho (probably cause I always use PvE gear.)

assassin with doppleganger is amazingly fun :D lightning traps by me then the other.. rooms die :D
necro
minions are COOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!
Assassin kicker.I had a build that I setup with Stormlash and an Infinity merc. The lower resists (Conviction) would increase the effect of Static field (procced by Stormlash)which would mean fewer kicks needed and it would take it past SF threshold(2/3 life left).I think few people either knew or believed Static field was effected by Conviction.Anyway after taking their life down to about 3/8ths I'd finish off with Death sentry. It worked really well in 8 player games because of the Static and I actually levelled up into the early 90s pretty fast.

Sorceress, with Static Field against Bosses and Lightning agains everything else
I enjoyed every tree of the druid a lot. To this day it disappoints me that they never gave werebear a level 30 skill when they should have. Werewolf had fury and werebear had...nothing.

Fire elemental was fun because the most annoying act in the game, act 3, became one of the easiest. Fissure would just sort those little midgets out.

Wind elemental was kind of op. It has a significantly higher learning curve because of how tornado worked on click, but even so, it did too much damage and bypassed most immunities. Cyclone armor basically made you immune to elements on top of that.

Had a lot of fun. Never got the high end runewords, totally ok with that. 6-link will probably be a similar situation in poe, totally ok with that.

My favorite was necromancer, 2 manning with my auradin mate.

Good times
