New Weapon Types / Changes

Indeed, but we must understand that adding a new weapon type is more than numbers.

GGG would have to:
- create the weapon models
- create the attack animations for each class
- change skill tree as necessary to accomodate new weapon types
- adjust numbers for balance
- test

So I doubt we will see new weapon types anytime soon.

Still, I left these suggestions, as I believe at least some of them are creative and interesting.

No, we mean a pair of epic Giganutiku Tesutikurousu Ofu Buroudjouningu, like the ones a tanuki has.

Anyway, nice weapon suggestions.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Made some change to Javelin suggestion.

I think it's interesting to have its throw functionality come with a chain that you must pull to recover it, representing a halved attack speed (but double damage) for throws.

just read this and i was curious as to what the difference between throwing weapons would be compared with a normal weapon using spectral throw and any other melee skill

is there an assumption that there would be more skills made for these weapons?

What difference is there between using a sword and an axe in Path of Exile?

Alot of it is flavor, but there could be skills designed for Thrown weapons and not Wands, and vice-versa.
