Lost interest in races cuz of Points system

If LeBron James WAS playing I would not! But I would watch.

They have many solution, i dont want the point system to get killed, but they have choices to make if they want to keep it:

Get back to the currency reward system but keep the points for the seasonal ranking to reward the best racers

I played the races in closed beta and it was way more enjoyable and motivating to get currency rewards at the end of every race. This new point system really only rewards people who can play a lot. If only the top 100 people are getting great rewards, eventually only the top 100 people will be doing the races. GGG bring back the currency rewards!

I don't mind the point system, and the current list of rewards look rather tasty.

But considering how hardcore you have to be in order to get anything past the first two rewards, it's just not worth the effort imo.

I have a feeling the current race system is designed more as a bug/feedback tool and to sorta advertise the game.

In the future I would like a more solid, multiple month long race event more akin to a ladder than a bunch of individual races.

Another thing is some of us don't have a permanent group and need better facilitation of public grouping to participate in race events and by some I mean the vast majority of us.

I agree. I was excited for my first couple races. Then I realized I had no chance of winning anything so whats the point? sometimes i wish i was still a teenager and could spend all day playing video games. I dont mind it i guess. I mean i just completely ignore them now but I would like a reason to not ignore them any longer. I will still try to make some cut throat events just for the lulz but actually trying to win something other than some low level unique i already have 3 or 4 of in my stash? lol yeah right...

1) Prize are bad
2) prize are not instant, you gotta do plenty of races to get em
3) you dont stand a chance against real no lifers
