What is the point of +% Light Radius and Reduced Attribute Requirements!?

Low life is supposed to reduce light radius

What is the reason for this?.

I think this is only so you would notice that you are dying, so making the life after reservation be the 100% for light radius might still serve that purpose for low-life builds, of course, the amount of life they have is lower but they shouldn't be punished in this way. They are already making a trade-off, they shouldn't have to sacrifice 2 things
Whatever you think of these two mods, one sure thing is, the chance to get good and even average gear drops decreased significantly.

As it stands now, there is no more grinding gear, there is mostly just grinding crap over and over and over again.

And buying a hell of a lucky item drop generated by whole player base pool from trade chat for big moneys.

It's really sad to see that GGG managed to kill the satisfaction of getting some nice loot after a couple days of play.

Not sure if this kind of changes that try to satisfy some players or adapt to bigger player base are actually making anyone happy, apart maybe from some hard nut heads in GGG office.

I honestly think it is to dilute the mod pool, widening the gaps between bad-good-perfect rolls which is a good thing atm.

The game would be dead if everybody had perfect stats on each rare. The new mods suck to make it harder and extend the life of the game.

Well after 3 dock runs(yes i know its not many) 23 yellow drops and 17 of them had "Reduced Attribute Requirements" affix. Only 3 had the "increased light radius" affix, now those items might of well been white in my book since they are pretty much worthless.

YES I SAY ITEMS ARE NOW VERY DILUTED NOW

I mainly play solo and only use gear I find, I am currently lv 76 and almost all my gear is lv 54 and lower. Haven't found an upgrade for 2-3 weeks now, not looking for the perfect upgrade, but would like to find a good upgrade once and awhile.

No changes to either of these affixes with the new patch!? Are you kidding me!?

These affixes make me sad. I was beginning to think this game was becoming much more than just a Diablo clone until these pointless properties were introduced. Unless someone can assure me these properties are useful, I would like to start a petition to have them removed. Let's hear what people have to say!

Useful for low life build.

NO they are not when they are competing with more useful mods such as chaos resist, ES, and move speed, etc.
Both of these mods needs to be addressed in a patch. Completely remove these worthless mods. Seriously. These two mods were NOT an improvement in the game.

Agreed.

In my opinion it has just made gear 100x harder to obtain in a game that already requires a hell of a lot of grinding.

Lets be honest here, does anyone actually want them stats, ever?
where can i sign the petition to remove these mods from the game?

more than useless mods imo

How to increase currency drop ratio's and promote item crafting over trading with currency Guide 1 :

Increase mod pool, making it harder to craft BiS gear

Increase currency drop rates to promote more crafting

= increase fun for self found players/solo players

These where my thought as well. It decreases gamer's fun factor, and increases dev's long term income factor. It's not a good sign from player's perspective.

I have been planning to gradually put more money in this F2P game than any other game I've ever bought & played. But because of introducing by GGG the above issue and my recent low life build which has almost no light radius in dungeons which make the game play tedious and frustrating, I am having a second thought. GGG has just inadvertently introduced a new mod into my mind: "-% $$$ to GGG"
