dont lock the new gem system behind the lab

if its a BASE GEM meaning not of special quality or type differentiating it from other gems then it should be available at lily/etc imo.

If its something like the alt quality gems from heist then its probably going to stay in whatever content they put it in.
Innocence forgives you

Which means they fundamentally altered a major gameplay type... One of the main reasons to run heists was for the alt gems. Why not just make the new gems that are designed to replace alt gems and helm enchants available in BOTH heist and lab since those are the two main areas effected.

They might not be fully locked behind lab--though running lab seems to give you more chance to hit what you want.

There are a number of league mechanics that have had lab-enchanted gear as rewards. I would assume those would be updated with transfigured gems?

but you can in lab change normal gems for empower/enlighten if lucky :D
More of enforcing hardcore experience of players who didn't choose hardcore...
But at least they're bringing ultimatum back, which is good
You can still trade for these gems, right? Then there is no problem. Don't care much about Heist, can get deleted and I won't bat an eye

As someone who outright despises lab runs this is just another reason for a permanent LOGOUT for me.

As someone who enjoyed Heist content do not speak for us, please.
Pointless to give triple-A game companies any sort of constructive criticism without getting put on probation (or banned). GGG's downfall is drawing near.

ok, so as a person who HATES labs, and in the same time is not intrested in heist (this mechanic could not go into CORE imo, and now they found a way to add alt gems without forcing us to run heist)...
I know right now i will become public enemy nr1 on this threat, as both sides will hate me xD But this change is not that big kind of a deal.

1. Lab runners were running labs, and providing enchant service - now they will get smaller, but way more frequet income from gems.
2. Heist lovers will still get all other parts of heist, except just the alt gems (which i know was the most profitable part later on IF YOU HIT something which ppl are looking for) - now you will get more currecy and more valuable currency instead of gems. Same as with lab runners - no "big hits", but more frequent smaller hits.

Ppl were not complaining when "the locked alt gems behind heist". Why? As most players play in trade leagues - they will buy that from someone who enjoy this content, and not force themself to run it. What's the difference in this scenario?

What terrifies me more, are the quality changes in most of the gems, but i'm still waiting for list of all transcendent gems and their quality.
Why this is not a good idea from GGG:

Reason 1:

The lock behind the eternal lab is not casual player friendly. These are the majority of the player base.

Reason 2:

The lock behind the eternal lab highl prefers a game mechanic, a lot of people (really )dont like. Those who does like it are a significant minority.

Reason 3

And it is definetely very unfriedlich for SSF (SSF, SSFHC, RLSSF, RLSSFHC). Those players cant trade, like to play SSF and are NOT just a couple of a few hundred players. They are an integral part of the game.

My five cents, if those gems are eternal lab only:

Typical GGG - again, (like the archnemsis mods), never asked the player base
before something gamechanging is announced.

Similar with the "reworked chieftan". Everone at Exile Con, who knew the game a little better, knew the moment the new stats were shown, that no one will like it, almost no one will play it, because it is not good at all, its crap.

Why do not ask the player base in advance ?

kind regards
