This league mechanic has NOTHING of this besides it turns the game into a completely different genre. If people would like to play an auto-battler I bet they would do so.

Your wish will be granted. The ranking mechanic is like delve depth and will eventually scale to the point where you can't do any damage and everything will one-shot you. Except unlike delve you can't pick a lower depth to farm, you can only lose ranking by losing tournaments, so it doesn't matter how strong your build or gear is everyone will eventually reach the same point where most of the time you are losing.

Well thought out mechanic huh. Even the people who enjoy it and try to play it a lot are punished.
I feel this. This sums it up perfectly for me, but I do like the potential. It's just weighted far too much in the enemy team and the rewards are always so bad. 😅

1. stealing flask charges cripples 99% of classes.

the rewards have NOTHING to do with the fight difficulty. the Faction gains have NOTHING to do with the fight difficulty. you can waltz through a 2000 faction fight, and then instantly fail to a 500 faction fight right after it.

people like auto battlers because they are fair and balanced. yours isnt. its just a fucking joke with no proper visibility. aping a game badly isnt a good idea.

What a shame that after all these years of growth, Poe has dwindled to nothing. All its potential now gone due to mistreatment and low priority in favour of poe2.
Base game is still fun as hell.

The disconnect is happening with league content. This horrible leave the game to play another game feeling has to change.

Let's go back to killing stuff to get loot in our maps.

If I have to research a guide and leave the game for 30 minutes to do league content then GGG arent doing something right.

I really don't understand the league mechanic. I tried a few matches and I have 3 units that die instantly while the enemy has like 10 that are insanely strong. Is there some notifier of difficulty for a particular match anywhere?

I feel like every match I accept is completely random. Are we supposed to just avoid the enemies and try to sneak their totems? Is there a minimum level for your character to even try this mechanic? I figured as soon as coins started dropping I could try the league, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
League is mid-end game content. Stay away from it until you are close to 90 with decent gear, defenses, capped res, and survivability. Even with all of that still expect to get 1shot.
just stay way for league in general. defense is pointless. it will 1 shot no matter what with 2x screen wide aoe.

like WTF first match and enemy mod ground slams with aoe that covers all arena and 1 shots. or lasser from god knows what distance and dont forget comet that stuns lock if not insta kills.
The concept of the league is fine, the problem is the execution. There is just no balance of reward vs challenge. Like i'm having way MORE FUN watching the loading screen every time i go to the town, than doing the league.
